Prepare yourself! Strictly psytrance lesson by Daksinamurti starts on 1st November Friday 8pm CET.
Daksinamurti is a cultural anthropologist and psytrance artist from Marburg, Germany, managing the South Africa based label TIMECODE and SANGOMA Records with Gata Freak from Doha.
With more then a decade of experience he looks back to a colorful history.
Daksi has worked with various labels such Shiva Space Technology and Nexus Media, Dacru and is a DJ for Peak Records based in Switzerland.
In 2012 Till teamed up with South African producer Tickets/Brethren formed their act “Android Spirit”, constantly working on music in their Germany based studio. 2013 they started to release music on various compilations and are about to unleash the debut album “Synthetic Organism” on Timecode in December.
Till has built a reputation within the international psytrance scene and shared his musical visions and vibes at various parties and festivals such as: Boom (Portugal), Universo Paralello (Brazil), S.U.N Festival (Hungary), Alien Safari (South Africa), Gemini (USA), VuuV, Antaris, Fusion, Fullmoon Festival (Germany) among others.
Daksinamurti prefers to play extended sets that have the ability to create a storyline that leads from night to light - a colorful journey through powerful psychedelic trance with strong grooves, organic/tribal soundscapes, filled with surprises, and sometimes even a blend of Goatrance. Covering a wide range of music his love for diversity is also reflected in multiple compilation releases he worked on or helped with.
As an ethnologist he studies temporary cultures and has an academic focus on the topics: Hinduism, Shamanism, Animism, Mythology, New Religious Movements, Youth and Counter Culture, Paganism, Native American & indigenous cultures and various other subjects. These themes reflect in his work with Sangoma Records which aim is to show a different perspective towards new influences of contemporary psychedelic music and therefore create culture.

Blackliters Radio #042 "Nukleall" [Psychedelic Trance Radio]

Welcome psychedelic  music enthusiasts, it is with great excitement that we unveil the exclusive PsynOpticz Records "Wizardry" series on Psymedia. This start to this series features a phenomenal live set recorded at MOOV Festival in Cape Town by none other than the talented South African producer, Solus.

For those who may not know, Solus is the psychedelic trance project of Hanré Kotzé, a skilled musician who grew up in a music school and tried his hand at various instruments before finding his passion for psytrance in 2012. He was inspired by attending numerous festivals and listening to the genre non-stop. In 2017, he learned how to DJ and after performing at his first outdoor music festival, he decided to broaden his horizons and produce the music he loved so much himself.

Fast forward to 2021, Solus was signed by the mighty PsynOpticz Records and has since released two EPs between 2021 and 2022. He is currently hard at work on his debut album which is set to be released later this year.

Solus is renowned for taking listeners on a high-energy journey ranging from full-on to psychedelic. His love for music and dedication to the craft is evident in every beat he produces. We invite you to join us on this magical journey through the musical landscape of Solus, one of South Africa's finest upcoming producers!

Occular began his exploration into trance at the age of 17 and since 2010 has been producing and Djing psytrance.
His focus and love for the music have helped him develop his style and skills in a relatively short amount of time. At the age of 23 Occular has already had a few releases and played across europe and Goa, India.
Occular’s main influences through his short time involved in the trance scene have been mostly the uk night time sound of Bom Shanka and Wild things. And was first introduced to the scene when he attended Tribe of Frog in Bristol. At the time occular was mixing and producing Drum & Bass, Techno and Dubstep. After this he immediately started making psytrance. Based in bristol he was able to get involved with the local free party crews like Ninja Hippies and Psychedelic Resisdance and soon after started playing Tribe of Frog on a regular basis.
His sound combines driving bass lines with groovy and hypnotic leads, with a daytime influence and is made for any time of day!
Occular continues to build on his psychedelic sound and trip over on the astral turf.

Z muzyka elektroniczna związany odkąd pamięta choć największy wpływ miała na niego - jak często zaznacza - jego pierwsza undergroundowa impreza w klubie Wagon we Wrocławiu gdzie po raz pierwszy usłyszał UK Acid Techno, Hardtekk i Frenchcore co łączyło się z masa nielegalnych imprez po całej Polsce i nie tylko! Teraz gra głównie groovy psychedelic trance pod nazwą Psychosomasis i caly czas poznaje/ewoluuje jeśli chodzi o ten styl muzyczny!
