"Acid Mondays join us again for a vinyl and digital release, an EP packed full with their unique musical experimentation and daring productions which has seen them release on infamous labels such as 2020Vision, Circus and most recently in 2015 One Records with their 'Schlurptastic' EP. At R&P we think of ourselves as a platform for artists and producers to ask questions and push the boundaries of electronic music, Acid Mondays are the perfect example of this. Acid Mondays original track 'Chi Ka Pasa' as well as their '5D Mix' & 'Dub Mix' of the original track shows their impeccable production control. Rolling bongos are set against loose shimmers and rattles which are sporadically interrupted by short sharp keys and haunting, whispering vocals that we hear throughout the EP. One thing I love about these tracks is they are so versatile, I can see them being played around the world at various venues by different artists and I am really looking forward to dropping them on the terrace at DC10 this summer.

Joining Acid Mondays on 'Chi Ka Pasa,' with two reworks, is the highly talented (and Toi Toi favourite), Ion Ludwig. With releases on Lick My Deck, Meandar Music and Trelik Ion has proved his ability time and time again. His two mix's of Acid Mondays original track 'Chi Ka Pasa' bring new meanings and a new story to the tracks. His 'Progmix II', which will only be released on vinyl, brings a more direct and percussive element to the track, whilst his digital 'Progmantra Mix' creates a hazy atmospheric essence. The addition of distant sirens and a grooving bubbling bassline allow our minds and bodies to move, whilst still controlled by vocals and mystery.

The balance of Acid Mondays and Ion Ludwig is one of delicate, intricate productions with exciting experimentation and musical evolution. The forward thinking aspects on this EP are in line with both my own and Rockets & Ponies style, ambition and creativity. Listen to it, see if we are wrong!"

Many open airs where we heard ’Golden Girls’ featuring the beautiful vocals from Lazarusman. And it's still fresh in the clubs. Now it’s about time for a decent follow-up.
We welcome back Tigerskin & Jack Jenson.
Tigerskin has been a key part of the dance scene for years not only under this name but also as Dub Taylor. His style is deep and atmospheric and works well with Jack Jenson, who he met at Salon Zur Wilden Renate in Berlin (Jack Jenson hosts a successful party event since day 1 at Renate). 
During their production process they linked up with Brian also known as Aquarius Heaven who normally releases on Circus Company and shares a studio space at Salon Zur Wilden Renate.
’Circles’ is a deep floorfiller for sure. And for those who like it more funky we added ’Somebody’ and ’Ladies Nite’.

Psycle’s expertly curated catalogue continues with a new addition from 
@Pow-Low that comes hot on the heels of his Inhale EP back in June.

Pow-Low is a core part of this label and keeps serving up the goods with each
new offering. He hails from the Italian part of Switzerland but his musical
endeavours have taken him all over the world. He’s formally studied jazz, been
playing vinyl since his teenage years, studied recording engineering and
production and worked in high end studios in Hollywood as well as being in a
number of bands.

The charming title track opens up this release with lively house music that is
enriched with warm, smeared chords, bubbly bass and an inviting,
heartwarming vibe. ‘Studio’ is another deep but driving track with bass and
synths that melt around each other as jazzy hi hats spin up top.
The classy, good time grooves continue with ‘nowER,’ which has deft little bass riffs sticking out of a gooey groove and cosmic pads adding to the superbly stylish feel. Luzern jazz-school band, Colster feat. DAENS provide the next offering, deftly remixed by Pow-low, ‘Around The World (Pow-Low Remix)’ is a superbly soul-drenched track with lounge-y chords and effortlessly smooth rolling kicks and vocals. Offering something more minimal, freaky and late night is the excellent ‘Son of a Beat’ (2019 remaster) which is a busy track with rich layers of synth, keys, samples and perc all scurrying above a restless rhythm. This is brilliantly colorful house music that exudes real soul and charm from start to finish.
