SynSUN is the single most important export product of Ukraine when it comes to psychedelic trance. Since early 2000 SynSUN has been producing 5 full albums, 3 EP's and many compilation releases for labels like Phonokol, Fineplay, Magma, YSE, Kagdila, Spliff Music, Beyond Logic and many others.

SynSUN's fifth full album "Alter Ego" released at Dacru Records in 2011. It's a double cd remix special
including an impressive list of cooperating artists such as Yahel, Astral Projection, Skazi, Eskimo, Vibe Tribe, Talamasca, Atomic Pulse, Bliss, The Misted Muppet, System Nipel, Wizzy Noise, Psy Craft, X-Noize, Mekkanikka and many others. Apart from the new full album more EP's are being cooked up at the SynSUN studio.

When it comes to the live performances SynSUN is known for the energetic act where the never ending attacks of melodies leave nobody unmoved at the dancefloor. Many countries have had the pleasure of receiving SynSUN in an event, some of them are South Africa, Switzerland, Portugal, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, Russia and Ukraine. Some of the bigger events where SynSUN performed include Life festival in Ireland and Tomorrowland in Belgium.

progressive 21st Century style of music. The album seamlessly blends many electronic sounds, including progressive house, with strong doses

He has received acclaim worldwide for his original productions, establishing him as one of the new names to watch in international dance.

Signed to Alchemy Records in 2008 as a duo, their first release - 'Lost Transmission' - was an instant hit across the globe. 'Bend the Future' was released in 2009 on Neurobiotic Records, and again became one of the festival anthems of the summer. Sonic Species debut EP 'Machina Terra' was finally released in the summer of 2010 on Alchemy Records and was again proved popular through the many re-releases of the self-named title track.

With the departure of Alex Story, Sonic Species continues forward as the solo project of Joe Markendale as he carves new epic paths through modern psychedelic trance. Having performed at some of the most heavyweight international psychedelic events, Sonic Species continues to storm dancefloors with dynamic and powerful live sets. Ramson Badbonez returns for Record Store Day with a little peek at his next project. Teaming up with Billy Brimstone on some old Italian Giallo craziness we see him emerge as the Silva Surfa on the track 'Warlords and Immortals'. 
Jehst takes charge of production on the flip with a banging futuristic slice of space funk in his remix of 'Power Cosmic' (from Kashmere's Galaktus LP). Kash came through to respit a different verse and this time is joined by Ramson Badbonez and Phoenix Da IceFire.

The fourth release on DISCOVERY Recordings comes from Analog Players Society, a melting pot of musicians led by Amon Drum at The Hook Studio in Brooklyn. 

Coule'Ba is a West African tune featuring the amazing vocal talent of Missia Saran Dibate of Guinea. We hoped to get it last year but the studio and surrounding area were hit hard by Hurricane Sandy (bitch). Amon and his fam spent the following months helping alongside the Red Hook Initiative with those even less fortunate in the area. By the time we got the record ready, it seemed only natural to donate the profits to the organization that did so much for Red Hook during that time.

500 copies, hand stamped bright red 7" vinyl - available late May.

M-THEORY’s pounding open sound reflects Marcello’s evolution as a producer and psynavigator. Inspired by his journeys through outdoor festivals and sonic fields around the earth, he strives in his music for that perfectly round clear kick&bass reverberating deeply through the dancefloor.

Marcello (aka dj MarcHello) is London based act M-THEORY.

MarcHello started djing as soon as he arrived in town from Italy at the end of the Nineties and became involved in the underground party scene. Label dj for Etnicanet Records until 2004, he then moved to Neurobiotic and Free-Spirit Records while also acting as an event promoter, co-founder of the legendary Fairy Tales parties. His passion for digital production eventually gave birth to Cimi, a crossover project between full-on and progressive psytrance.

In 2005 Marcello joined forces with Rob, his partner in their new M-Theory project, and together gravitated towards a faster psychedelic sound with edgy morning sounds, underpinned by phat & funky bass lines. They were signed to Alchemy Records in 2007. The Cimi project was put on hold while M-Theory were producing their first album "Branes", released by Alchemy Records and followed by a well-received tour around the globe.

Marcello formally went solo as M-THEORY from the beginning of 2011. Rob left the project due to family commitments. During this transition Marcello resumed his work on CIMI and was signed to upcoming UK label Furthur Progressions. Since then he has been producing steadily both full-on and progressive psytrance. He has regular collaborations with established artists, and occasionally dedicates his time to studio mastering.

CAPTAIN HOOK is the new project by Reshef Harari, from the center of Israel, who is already well-known as being half of the duo QUANTIZE as well as for his techno project SHEFF.

After the release of the debut Quantize album at late 2008 on Iboga Records he has been in high demand on dance floors across the globe – from Universo Paralello, XXXPerience, Tribe, Playground & Atmosphere in South America to Burning Man & Symbiosis in the US as well as some of the biggest festivals on the European scene, such as Sonica, Antaris and Hadra, where Quantize have pumped out their unique fusion of psychedelic progressive techno trance. As already mentioned, he has been releasing techno-tunes on his own for a while with the project Sheff, with tunes heavily supported by key players like Umek, Erphun, and Perfect Stranger, and now the time has come for a solo-exploration of the progressive side of psychedelic trance with the new project Captain Hook! Heavy basslines, crunchy grooves, and a sound very suited for nighttime are the ingredients, with a focus strictly for the dance floor, things are looking very interesting for the coming months as well as 2011. Releases are on the way on Iboga Records, Echoes, Plusquam, and Blue Tunes including remixes of Ace Ventura, Neelix, Ritmo, Easy Riders, and Psysex as well as collaborations with Tetrameth, Zen Mechanics, and Ace Ventura. Being born in Siberia in 1989 and having moved to Greece in the beginning of the 1990s the raw euphoric power of nature is ever present in Vladislav Koumpatidis’ aka Aquafeel’s music.

Aquafeel, who first started to experiment with psychedelic trance and the possibilities of various sequencers in 2006, and had his first release,Trust EP, on Spintwist Records no less than two years later, can be described as a natural musical genius.

His first live set at legendary Indian Spirit Festival in 2008 opened the way for his musical career, and today Aquafeel is a frequent favorite at various European psy trance festivals and parties.

Aquafeel personifies the hallmark of bittersweet melodies in perfect resonance with deep suggestive baselines. This, along with his touch and feel for tricky details and interesting grooves, takes the listener on a journey into deep melodic progressive trance.

Further, together with Normalize, Aquafeel is one of the masterminds behind Aqualize. Their first release, Land of 2 Suns has become one of the most played tracks on the progressive dance floors and have by some been called a true trance hymn.
