After the success of ‘A Is For Acid’ Perc Trax Ltd continues with the first ever collaboration between the London brutalist dream team of label boss Perc and regular Perc Trax artist Truss (R&S, Avian, OCS) for an EP of no-bullshit, hardware based techno. 

Three tracks, each recorded fully live in one take. No second attempts, no re-edits and no processing of the tracks after they were recorded. Add mastering by Matt Colton and you have one of Perc Trax's rawest releases so date. 

As with A Is For Acid the first pressing of this 12” will be on clear vinyl with a full colour double-sided artwork insert by Jonny Costello, who also created the artwork for Perc’s ‘Wicker & Steel’ and ‘Labour Division’ by Forward Strategy Group.

The Dance & Romance collective is a movement with no music boundaries. We aim to showcase different and evolving sounds in all aspects of music. The Vibes Vol. 1 EP is a compilation featuring @Literature, @Astral-Angst, and @Calcat. The theme was good vibes that you would experience at the beach. It accurately reflects are Californian heritage of relaxing and partying under the sun. Vibes Vol. 1 contains three tracks that all have funk and bring various styles such as deep house, disco house, and disco chillwave.

I chanced upon Beats Antique & Charles Butler's rendition of Daft Punk's Get Lucky and I knew that I had to throw a beat on top of it.

I didn't want to deviate too much from the original awesomeness that Beats Antique & Charles Butler had created, so I just added a bassline and some percussions, sprinkled a tinge of editing and this track was ready to be served.

Daniel Portman was born and raised in the suburbs of Zurich, Switzerland. He fell in love with electronic music at a very young age: It was the late 90s, with all its ups and downs, when young Daniel started to test his musical abilities on an Akai2000 sampler and an old sequencer.

Mid 2000s his first EP “Backside / Evolution” was released on Unreleased Digital. Followed by the EP “I never sleep”. Tracks came up on labels such as Harem Records, Big & Dirty, Armada, AnjunaDeep or on PinkStar Records next to releases on his homebase label Unreleased Digital.
He’s also known for successful collab productions with Jerome Isma-Ae and Stanley Ross.

Rapidly he gained a big base of fans from all corners of the world, and his agenda got fully booked with DJ gigs on all continents. He made quite a heavy assault on the DJ scene performing on events in front of more than 10’000 people.

Over the years Daniel designed a forward thinking and unique style of house music, which can be described as a mixture of progressive house and techno. But also with an ability to infuse cutting edge machine music with soulful grooves. Therefore his productions regularly fill the top positions of Beatport’s Top 100 chart and are fast becoming staples for DJs everywhere.

With the release of Alberto Pascual´s 'Modeler EP", CLR welcomes a new artist to the label roster while the Madrid based DJ/producer adds another record to his remarkable list of releases on respected Techno imprints, including the legendary Drumcode LTD and Plus 8. CLR076 contains four brand-new compositions of crystal clear, bass-heavy and enthralling Techno from one of Spain´s internationally renowned players. His tracks have been accurately described as 'nebulous and aerial groove material dedicated to the suave, stretched and paced night-time' and his efficient production style abstains from any unnecessary element or gimmick. The four tracks focus on the essential roots of uncompromising, absorbing Techno and the individual track titles 'Modeler", 'Doer", 'Modifier' and 'Sculptor", which are all related to some kind of hand-made work, might as well be a reference to this original and honest production ethos. Alberto Pascual is one of those restless creators of raw, solid Techno who should be kept closely under watch and the present 'Modeler EP' is another faultless and intriguing CLR release.

Rødhåd is one of the city’s most promising and talked about new artists of the last year. With only 2 EP’s on Dystopian (the label he helms with friends) & 1 remix on Semantica, that’s quite an achievement.

‘Spomeniks EP’ is his first release outside of Dystopian but preserves his deep & melancholic yet powerful style.

Apart from a rising producer & prolific dj, Rødhåd is a very down to earth guy with a strong vision and an open mind.

Definitely a match with anything Token stands for.

Reasons for the small break since last year’s seminal ‘Behind The Sun / The Chasedown’? A lot of remix work – which will see the light of day in the following months - and more importantly: finishing his long awaited debut album. The LP is called ‘Frames Of Reference’ and will be released this autumn. The 2 tracks on this single – a double a-side - are both featured on the album and should give you a taste of what flavours to expect.

‘On The Edge’ & ‘Perplexed’ complement each other perfectly. The first is a raw peak time cut, while the latter is a more atmospheric & hypnotic piece for the afterhours.
Both pieces bring display strong & intense techno with an incredible sense for depth & detail. Few seem to master these qualities like Ø [Phase] does.
