Imagine growing up near Berlin, getting into dance music, going to Berghain for the first time and getting your mind blown by techno. Then, ten years later, you become a resident DJ at the fabled club. Not many people—any people?—can claim this story, but for Fadi Mohem, what would be so many DJs' dreams became a reality. After getting his 2017 debut 12-inch Reckless in the hands of all the right people in Berlin, Mohem established a bold, bouncy techno sound with releases on Modeselektor's Seilscheibenpfeiler, Ben Klock's Klockworks and FJAAK's SPANDAU20, pretty much the cream of the crop of modern techno.

Now, this year, he's becoming one of Berghain's newest residents, alongside other exciting names like Sedef Adasï and Naty Seres (and Lakuti upstairs at Panorama Bar). As heard on his recent collaborative with Ben Klock, Mohem has modern techno down to a science, thanks to a combination of reverence for the old-school and clever rhythmic touches, like the irresistible snare pattern on "Prefix." His RA Podcast sounds like what you might expect from a new generation of Berghain resident: aerodynamic, heavy and, honestly a little midtempo compared to a lot of other young techno DJs. It's the sound the club has made world-famous, with cuts from Reeko, Heiko Laux and Truncate, plus some special moments from aya, DJ Deeon and Petar Dundov. It takes a certain kind of DJ to get to this hallowed place, and Fadi Mohem deserves it.

Analytic Trail and the Italian DJ/Producer Luigi Madonna launched “Loverdose Remix Contest” in the summer of last year with the extraordinary Foem’s Collaboration.  After a great music selection, the winners are: Uron, a South American duo, and Remotion, a young duo from Portugal. So Loverdose Remixes is finally born and the winners had the pleasure to been produced in the same EP with very special remixers as Label Boss Markantonio with Roberto Capuano and Mauro Picotto with Riccardo Ferri.
First track of Remix Pack is the EP homonym “Loverdose” remixed by Uron, a straight dark beat is the background of this Big Room Techno track filled by spacey synth and sidechain tools.
On the second step of the journey you can hear a funky Techno chord and a warm bassline supported  by a huge killer Drum Kick, it’s “International Aga” remixed by Markantonio and Roberto Capuano.
It’s time to get a tribal connection with “Rocco & Maredo” remixed by Mauro Picotto and Riccardo Ferri, they gave their cosmic Techno vision of the floor on this version combining hypnotic bass synths and essential raw drum elements.
We reach the final step with “Loverdose” again remixed by Remotion, it’s a mix of deep bassline and background dark effects to fill a groovy Techno bouncing beat.
Another huge project is born thanks to the amazing work made by great producers with the support of a special label that anytime is ready to give the best quality music to the dance generation.

From cult local beginnings on the Berlin circuit, Rødhåd is now very much part of the global DJ highway. What initially turned heads was his ability to hold down long and hypnotic sets of loopy, moody house and techno all masterfully mixed in immersive ways. His productions, too, mixed sparse ambient designs with rolling techno grooves on labels like Dystopian and Token, and just this month he put out his debut album, Anxious. It’s a filmic meditation on beautifully bleak and eerie sounds and is another reason we love the man after he turned in a memorable closing set on our UFO stage at this year’s Dekmantel Festival. 

Over a ninety minute live mix recorded recently, he gets more energised with plenty of hurried techno and urgent synth lines all tightly weaving round each other. It’s a high pressure and enchantingly linear set that touches on Millsian space vibes, industrialism and unhinged apocalypse music in one smoothly mixed and sequenced session that will leave you out of breath.
