A Skillful artist and Producer from Turku Finland. I love to do allkind of music with my computer and like allmost every genre. I've started composing when i was little kid. First songs i have done when i was like 7years old. First one was about pokemon's with acostic guitar and singing.
I was eleven years when i released 2 copies from my first full Techno album with Acid Music. :D

It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.

Quentin PETITEVILLE alias DJ YAK'Ô a toujours voulu composer de la musique tel un rêve d’enfant, en pensant que ce n’était pas possible.

Il a découvert le jeu vidéo « Music Creation for PlayStation » début des années 2000 et il lui a été offert des suites logicielles tel, que les eJay sur PC.

Une crise de créativité et d’inspiration s’est vite fait ressentir : cela venait sûrement d’un manque de culture musicale, à l’époque, et l’utilisation d’outils trop simplistes.

Puis est venu l’arrivé de l’Internet haut-débit, Quentin a pu donc partager ses compositions sur son site web et sur les forums dédiés à la Musique Assistée par Ordinateur : C’est la naissance du surnom DJ YAK’Ô.

Suite à la réception de critiques et de discussions très enrichissantes avec les différents membres, son style a pu se peaufiner avec le temps.

Des événements, plus ou moins heureux, dans sa vie personnelle l’ont obligé à pouvoir exprimer ses émotions intérieures. Ceci, lié à l’utilisation d’outils plus professionnels l’amène à vouloir travailler plus en profondeur le son et la structure de ses morceaux.

La découverte d’artistes indépendants, de groupes classiques de la musique électronique, tel que le groupe allemand Kraftwerk, pour ne citer que lui, ou alors les musiques de jeux vidéos, lui ont ouvert la voie de la créativité. Sa famille l’incitant à poursuivre dans cette voie.

Jusqu’à maintenant, il s’est contenté de publier ces musiques uniquement sur son site web mais aujourd’hui, il souhaite faire découvrir son travail à un nombre croissant de monde.

Il travaille seul actuellement car il s’agit pour lui de pouvoir « faire parler » ses émotions.
