Brainpuppet is a new name for psytrance productions, although the man behind the name has been making music for over 15 years now. Most of the music is created using Ableton Live and a wide range of VSTs.

Main inspirations are Infected Mushroom, Simon Posford, Ananda Shake, A-team, Toast3d, Space Buddha and Synsun.

Other less obvious favorites include Vitalic, Dj Sasha, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Boards of Canada, Pink Floyd, Portishead and Nick Cave.

He became a staple at numerous parties across Barcelona, collaborating with collectives such as La Finka, Dimension X, Psyseed, Expressing Underground, Trykomadelik, Hippy-flip, PsycomaniK, and Muscaria. His music also echoed through the underground party scenes of Ibiza.

In 2012/2013, Cricket further honed his craft by studying electronic music at ETIC. After a brief hiatus, he returned to the electronic dance music scene with a refreshed mindset and a new sonic aesthetic. Now focusing on Progressive and Psytrance genres, Cricket is dedicated to pushing boundaries and infusing fresh sounds into the scene.

Embracing a new name and persona, Cricket is more than just a DJ—he is a pioneer continually evolving and shaping the future of electronic music.
