What an incredible opportunity to hear the way other artists interpret my music!  Every song is different.  I gave each artist the option of picking ANY song from my catalog that most inspired them. Time for something a bit different! Here's my official remix of Too Short's Weird Science, a collab I did with my good friend Wolf-e-Wolf. The original also features verses from Oh Blimey and the was produced by San Francisco's El Diablo. We took the original and flipped it on it's head, adding a good deal of melody and big bass but still keeping the relatively dark hip hop vibe. I've been graciously allowed to offer this up as a free download, so grab it while you can!

This tune is forthcoming on Nextgen Records, alongside a few remixes, so there's no free download for this one, I'm afraid.

For anyone who might be wondering, yes, this is the vocal version for the track once called "Kalimba".
The lyrics (find them below) have once again been written by the incredible Nathan Brumley, who is also the male singer in this song, and as usual, he hit the hammer right on the head. 
The amazing female voice comes from Charlotte Amadea. It's been an absolute blast working with her, expect to hear more from her in the future!

French producer Teho makes a swift return to Herzblut to follow up his excellent Hope EP from May this year. His latest work sees him team up with fellow Frenchman and huge talent Tran, who's own music has been described as oscillating between minimal and melodic. Making this partnership a perfect fit. 

Their KOTO EP sees Teho & Tran submerging us in trademark emotional and powerful soundtracks, enhanced further by their use of the wonderful sounds of the Orient. Lead cut Asakusa elegantly displays its power through its pulsing one note bass and opening broken beat pattern. Its liquid flow sees it gather intensity before the Eastern strings echo in its breakdown. On the flip we are treated to more of the same, this time lead by Kabuki's beautiful flutes, warped bassline and plucked string melody. Perfection.
