The Parisian label Maison Close is very proud to release the long-awaited new EP by VOST. After a first appearance on the label's 4th Various Artists in 2022, Maison Close wanted to highlight VOST's club and fast melodic techno style, embodied in his track Concept, a real banger already played and supported by many artists. Lacchesi and AADJA bring their own vision on mental, psy & trancy remixes

VOST - Concept

This episode features NOIZEBUG with a live set recorded specially for Moon Koradji Records series on radiOzora. On the westcoast of Norway, between majestic mountains and in the far mystic forests somewhere…the NOIZEBUG project came alive. The project was created & founded by Steffen Sommerstad back in 2003. After he fell madly in love with the psychedelic trance scene in the year 2000 and going to several parties and festivals across Scandinavia and Europe the following years, with finding his spiritual “self”, he wanted to set his own soundscapes to life. When he first got the famous “WOW!” factor listening to twisted , chaotic and yet melodic powerful quality music on the dancefloor, he thought to himself: “I want to influence people exactly the same way and to get the same feeling like I did on that Tempel dancefloor”. He soon found himself floating away in front of the computer with different hardware synthesizers and software, creating lots of different sounds, liquid patterns and rhythms, where rhythm has been a big interest all his life. His style is very powerful, with big organic atmospheres and mystic melodic soundscapes, influenced by the mystic nature you’ll find in the land of trolls & gnomes, Norway...

Sangoma features COSINUS with a live set in this episode. Cosinus aka Michael, who discovered electronic music at 13, influenced by artists like Yello, Kraftwerk, and the sounds of Detroit techno and house music. He began his DJ career on turntables at a local youth club in his hometown. After 20 years of energizing dancefloors, he now focuses on creating music for his live sets and occasional DJ performances.  His sound is characterized by epic, pumping, and snarling forest psytrance, blending nighttime psychedelia with deep, forest-friendly atmospheres. His music suits both the early hours of the morning and the middle of the night, offering powerful tunes to captivate listeners. Cosinus is an artist not to be missed at any party.

Hunab Ku Records presents Yondo and Lorca. This project was started by a young German hippie who dreamed of studying Ethnology and Biology but now travels the world with his music. His psychedelic trance journey began with a spontaneous trip to the OZORA Festival in 2014, where he fell in love with mystical tribal dance rituals. In 2015, he began organizing vibrant parties, creating the "L300 Decoration & Arts Circle" and later founding the "Tarmac" festival with enthusiastic collaborators. His music blends old stories and fairy tales to create the perfect dance floor atmosphere. Last year, he joined Hunab Ku Records, releasing his first compilation, "STARDUST," and his debut EP, "Oracle of Miracles." He now manages the label with his cosmic brother, Rafa Entheon.  About this set: "It features new tracks with friends from Mexico and Australia, set for an upcoming EP, my latest label release, and two powerful tracks from a favorite artist, previously featured in my first compilation."

Creator of world quality events and purveyor of universal quality music, PsynOpticz is a forced to be reckoned with. The concept of PsynOpticz was seeded in the thriving Cape Town indoor scene in 2006, where it flourished, providing the CT masses with cream of the crop local and international talent on a weekly basis. With this experience and ever growing support, it became inevitable that PsynOpticz branch out into the outdoors, providing South Africa with it's staple annual event, Jungala Festival.

It has its own special flavour and design, with the goal to create an all encompassing experience that removes you from the mundane and transports you to an interactive psychedelic wonderland, a completely synergistic and harmonious journey from beginning to end. These festival hosts fresh talent as well as headliners, both homegrown and from around the globe, establishing the network that would eventually culminate in the evolution of PsynOpticz from event organiser to a record label.

The mastermind behind PsynOpticz, Calvin aka SwiTcHcaChe, has developed a keen ear for prospective acts, being both organiser as well a DJ. By committing to bringing out new and exciting acts to Cape Town, he uncovered many artists that share his love for non-generic and energetic psychedelic music, and his desire grew to expose this incredible music to the unsuspecting psy masses. Currently, the PsynOpticz stable is represented by artists from around the globe, each bringing their own unique approach and sound to the psychedelic world stage.
