Welcome to our PsynOpticz “ELEMENTS” Series, where we will be featuring DJs & producers from around the world that make up our beloved psychedelic scene. We are very excited to announce our 13th feature, Nerazim from Argentina! You can also expect an EP coming soon on PsynOpticz Records! 

Lucas "Miles" Stutz, a.k.a. Nerazim; Biel (SWI), February 1995. 
Nerazim started in the world of music at 9 learning classical music and playing in some metal and punk bands until he became interested in electronic music at age 20 and later specifically psytrance.
He started the art of DJing with Hernan Musolino a.k.a. Kirtan (ARG) and he moved to Buenos Aires where he studied music production with Daniel Pulvirenti a.k.a Kovik (ARG) giving way for the project Nerazim, his own sound with a unique style of experimental fullon night with dark textures and constant sweeps and grooves.

Eine droyfache Limbo-Rolle vorwärts bitte & ab auf den Floor! Die Stuttgarter Produzentin zeigt mit ihrem Zeitschen-Techno schon gute zwei Dekädchen wo der Hammer hängt. Auch hier beliefert Frau Hetzinger uns mit einem klassischen Brett - schwer zu Katalogisieren, gut zu Ketogaieren - und trifft den Nagel mit ordentlich Dampf mal wieder auf den Kopf. Sri Rudram (Sanskrit: श्री रुद्रम्), to which the Chamakam (Sanskrit: चमकम्) is added by scriptural tradition, is a Hindu stotram (hymn) dedicated to Rudra (an epithet of Shiva), taken from the Yajurveda (TS 4.5, 4.7).
Sri Rudram is also known as Sri Rudraprasna, Śatarudrīya, and Rudradhyaya. The text is important in Saivism, where Shiva is viewed as the Supreme God. The hymn is an early example of enumerating the names of a deity, a tradition developed extensively in the sahasranama literature of Hinduism. By the first few centuries CE, the recitation of the Śatarudrīya is claimed, in the Jābala Upanishad, to lead to immortality. The hymn is referred to in the Shiva Purana.
The text is also famous for its mention of the Saivite Panchakshara ("five-syllable") mantra (Sanskrit: Namaḥ Śivāya), which appears in the text of the Śatarudrīya in the eighth anuvaka. The text also contains the mantra Aum Namah Bhagavathe Rudraya. Through the chanting of Sri Rudram, Lord Siva's various attributes and aspects are invoked and worshiped. Chanting the Rudram is considered to be of great benefit. The Rudram chanting can be done with or without the accompaniment of a Vedic yagna ritual. When accompanied with the Vedic fire ritual, it is called the Rudra Yagnam. It is said that Lord Shiva, after Bhasmasura was killed with the help of Lord Maha Vishnu, performed the Tandava Dance and then performed the "Rudra Yagna" for the betterment of humanity. The place where the Rudra Yagna was performed is where the "Sri Kalahasti" Temple stands now; this temple also has one of the 5 (Pancha bhootha - Vayu, Agni, Jala, Akash, Prithvi) lingas called Vayu.

SATI is truly in a class of her own, having played in the techno and psychedelic scenes for over a decade.   Member of EXPO RECORDS, MANDALA BOOKING & PSY SISTERS , Sati has come up through the ranks to become one of London’s most prestigious psy-trance DJs.  Her dark, driving and full on sets leave crowds waiting on the dancefloor for her sets to begin. Her skills behind the decks have earn her an army of fans around the globe, including countries such as Sweden, Poland, Germany, Spain, Israel and Italy. If there is an underground psy event in London, you are most likely to see Sati on the line up!  Sati has also performed in some of London’s most iconic clubs such as O2 Academy, Brixton Academy, Ministry of Sound, and the once renowned Fridge club in Brixton.  She has also ventured into music production, and stormed the psy-trance Beatport chart to no.5 in 2014 with her debut EP ‘Yesta’ released on Panmusic Records.  Her talents extend to graphic design, and her psychedelic art is in high demand for party flyers and album releases. She is a freelance graphic designer for labels such as IONO, TECHSAFARI, EXPO, also working with NANO RECORDS, IBOGA, DIGITAL OM and many more.

Have you seen the ‘Inception’ movie? This compilation may be the musical version of it,with Sagittarius as the main character. He is playing around with the frolicdidgeridoo and dancing on the iridescent sound waves, and dreaming on. So, he pulls the bow back, chills down, and aims. The flight of the arrow brings to shamaniccapoeira and extraterrestrial hop funked up with the cartoonish vibe. Then the levels of the abstract dreams mix up like in a snow glow with Jupiter inside. Creator of world quality events and purveyor of universal quality music, PsynOpticz is a forced to be reckoned with. A haven for the like minded and a hub of creativity, it has embraced all aspects of psy-culture. PsynOpticz has it's roots deep in mother Africa but has found it's home in hearts and dancefloors worldwide. 

The concept of PsynOpticz was seeded in the thriving Cape Town indoor scene in 2006, where it flourished, providing the CT masses with cream of the crop local and international talent on a weekly basis. These events quickly gained an ardent following and were renowned for their stellar lineups, immersive psychedelic decor and energising vibe! 

With this experience and ever growing support, it became inevitable that PsynOpticz branch out into the outdoors, providing South Africa with it's staple annual event, Jungala Festival.

It has its own special flavour and design, with the goal to create an all encompassing experience that removes you from the mundane and transports you to an interactive psychedelic wonderland, a completely synergistic and harmonious journey from beginning to end. These festival hosts fresh talent as well as headliners, both homegrown and from around the globe, establishing the network that would eventually culminate in the evolution of PsynOpticz from event organiser to a record label.

The mastermind behind PsynOpticz, Calvin aka SwiTcHcaChe, has developed a keen ear for prospective acts, being both organiser as well a DJ. By committing to bringing out new and exciting acts to Cape Town, he uncovered many artists that share his love for non-generic and energetic psychedelic music, and his desire grew to expose this incredible music to the unsuspecting psy masses. Currently, the PsynOpticz stable is represented by artists from around the globe, each bringing their own unique approach and sound to the psychedelic world stage.

The driving force behind PsynOpticz is their ignitable passion and deep love of the culture and music. The label grows from strength to strength daily, fueled by the positive response and endless smiles experienced on a PsynOpticz dance-floor, or anywhere the music is played and enjoyed.
