Welcome to our PsynOpticz “ELEMENTS” Series, where we will be featuring DJs & producers from around the world that make up our beloved psychedelic scene. We are very excited to announce our 13th feature, Nerazim from Argentina! You can also expect an EP coming soon on PsynOpticz Records! 

Lucas "Miles" Stutz, a.k.a. Nerazim; Biel (SWI), February 1995. 
Nerazim started in the world of music at 9 learning classical music and playing in some metal and punk bands until he became interested in electronic music at age 20 and later specifically psytrance.
He started the art of DJing with Hernan Musolino a.k.a. Kirtan (ARG) and he moved to Buenos Aires where he studied music production with Daniel Pulvirenti a.k.a Kovik (ARG) giving way for the project Nerazim, his own sound with a unique style of experimental fullon night with dark textures and constant sweeps and grooves.

Alfa Draconis is the alias of Vanessa Rothmund, who is coming selecting energetic and funky high bpm night tunes.
After her collection was full of new sonority, she started to put his sets online and with the great feedback just got her first gigs at parties and festivals. Brazilian, born in Sao Paulo State, have his first contact with trance at world famous festival Universo Paralello at Bahia, restarting at that moment everything what have been living, connecting deeply and spiritually with the music and the psychedelic culture, awakening a new path for came til these days.
Alfa Draconis means the full energy coming from her powerful DJ sets, giving to the dancefloor sound frequencies capable of activating spots of the human brain bringing synergy and connection with the awakening of consciousness.

XED BIO ::
Xed is the psytrance project by the Founder of Patronus records, Cedric Marugg. Born in Switzerland, he discovered the psytrance scene and started playing DJ-Sets at local parties in 2016 and got himself immersed deeply into everything about it, due to falling in love with the music and dancing. After some parties he decided to organize his own events in the Swiss mountains and gather experience organizing raves. After two years of DJing he decided to dive into music production and started developing his skills with help by some of his friends (Mirror Engine, Metrix, Yaroc a.m.m.). Cedric quickly learned and distinguished himself as having a unique style very early on. As time went on, next to putting in lots of time into the record label, his production only grew more mature and clean, not loosing a bit in creative ideas. Wild, unorthodox breaks, funky stinging raygun sounds, poisonous acid stabs, reckless alien space battles and all the gud spacey shit included. Fun but yet introspective psychedelia, but undoubtedly different, generating excitement through sheer overflow of creative and brain-twirling patterns and grooves. Blasting as loud as possible is an moral obligation. He had the honor to play at some big events like the Sangoma Night in Zürich, Utopia Festival in Ticino, Sundaze festival near Basel as well as Sensory Spectrum (teaser) Party in Oman. Patronus Records has been founded officially in 2018 and since then, Cedric, with all the fire in his heart, has been continuously putting great effort and work into it. His goals are always growing as an individual. He's driven by the idea of giving music lovers and dancers a smile, as well as hosting a family of like-minded people and giving them soil to grow on.

Brian Munguia aka Dj GrooveMoon belongs to the new band of Djs from the CDMX, influenced by the first rave parties he attended, he started playing his Dj Set in 2011 and little by little he improved his technique which allowed him to integrate ranks of TranceNetwork Team at the end of 2015.

Currently in 2017 was signed by the record company based in India, Brahmasutra Records a new proposal that aims to promote and disseminate new talent Djs as Producers of the globe.

His sessions are full of dynamism handling different speeds ranging from 146 bpm to 152 bpm, an auditory delight for those who like the sounds of the night.

Jimi Green is the Psytrance project of Jonas Kalkreuth from Germany. Throughout his life music has been a loyal companion either by playing multiple instruments, being surrounded by musicians, or listening as much as possible, always being eager to find new inspiring musical ideas. Once he discovered psychedelic trance, he knew the possibilities of musical expression would be endless. After years of experimentation, trial and error he found his own unique interpretation of psychedelic music. Over the years he released tremendous amounts of tunes with his two-man project Duke & Gonzo. After years of composing music together, he felt it was time to explore the realm of psychedelic music on his own and see what will happen once he got down the rabbit hole. Killawatt & Particular are the solo Psychedelic Trance projects of Byron Sampson from Cape Town, South Africa.

I always find myself writing two different styles of psy trance so decided to split it with two different names. Originally I've always being Killawatt but now I have a newer one called Particular. I really enjoy the groovy night time psychedelic full on and the dark forest early morning vibes. So now I can distinguish between the two: D

Killawatt:

This is my darker sometimes higher tempo ranging from 148 – 160 bpm. Glitchy, atmospheric and occasionally hi tech or Forest sounding project aimed for the earlier hours of the morning. This is a project I am very excited to experiment with where I have no boundaries and anything goes. No formula, just messing around to see what new things I can come about with synthesis. Twisted FX sounds, Crunchy leads, big atmospheres and lower bass lines with a slightly groovy feel.

Particular:

This is my “lighter” project which tempo ranges from 145 – 148 bpm. To me I would call it a day time project however most would say it’s more for the night time psychedelic full on vibe. Driving leads, grainy FX, glitch percussion FX lines and groovier bass lines with higher energy compared to Killawatt. I’m super stoked to have this one going and will have lots of tunes posted eventually :D

Malákia is the project created by music producer Pedro Kenji. Created at the end of 2015, the project seeks to bring all the psychedelic experiences that were absorbed in the festivals dancefloors and in life, always aiming for joy and seriousness at the same time. Its sound goes through aspects such as full-on, Full on Night, Twilight and Forest, always with originality in its sound design, which accompanies the dynamic bass lines. His latest release was the EP “Deep Night Immersion”, by Chanakya Records, the label he has been part of since March of 2020.

ETERNITY is an energetic and ingenious Greek artist who lets his inspiration flow in anything he touches. Except of a dj and a producer he has a leading role in one of the biggest psychedelic communities in Greece and overseas.
His Music Project marked by Deep Sound Layer, Organic and Dynamic Kick and Basss,moving between different lines of Twilight & Forest music..Also spends a lot of his creativity in the aerography & design arts.
Born in Athens in 1989, Nick grew up wandering in every psychedelic corner he found in his free time whilst learning, working and expanding his creativity. He absorbs his influence from numerous artistic scenes and he is experimenting in all kinds of psychedelic vibes. 
He had been the opening act of many influential and core names of the trance scene. Although he enjoyed DJing and putting the pieces together to create a pleasing journey in numerous parties & festivals, in 2011 he felt in love with music producing. 
Since then he participated in many cooperative and solitary projects releasing more of his energy in the art of the psychedelic...

Welcome to 2021, this year is going to bring us so many amazing things including insane exclusive content from artists around the world in our “ELEMENTS” series! For our first feature of 2021 we bring you a very multi-talented an important role player in the Japanese psychedelic scene, DJ Hanabi!

Dj Hanabi is a DJ and promoter from Japan and is signed to Mosaico Records based in Brazil.
He is a Wing Makers organizer and this event company was created in 2010.

Hanabi has a unique track selection, which has various developments that sparks an acid feeling centering on the Mosaico Records style to which he belongs and is a full-on style that mixes South American psychedelic.

In 2004 he started organizing event and his DJ career with Over Drive. He has also been active as a member of GENTEN KAIKI and Earth Energy.

Since he joined Mosaico Records in 2014, he has invited many artists to be featured on the lineups for his events in Japan. It can be said that he brought a new breeze to the Japanese party scene. In addition to his own overseas appearances, he is also working on inviting next-generation artists who are not yet known in Japan.

His overseas gigs include Hai in den Mai in Germany, Reveill Oz in Brazil, Universo Paralello in Brazil, Secret open air in Macedonia, The Experience Festival in Thailand, club party in Australia, and other local parties and festivals.  I'm playing in.

WOW this is one incredible year!!! We have been blessed by so many artists wanting to be featured on our “ELEMENTS” series, and we super amped to be able to provide this platform to share and promote them to the world! For our second of 2021 and our 9th ELEMENTS Episode, we have this top producer from Brazil that has been blasting it for many years under his alias “Hovercraft” and in the past few years he has created a night time psychedelic project, DYSTOPIAN, which has just blown us away and it will do that to you as well!

From the Greek δυσ- "bad" and τόπος "place", Dystopian brings to the imaginary planes relatively obscure projections of shadowy nuanced future parallels in which their echoes are musically projected, depicting post-apocalyptic realities or dominated by Mother Gaia and her forests dense with pure wildlife.
Officialy joined to Vantara Vichitra Records on october 2019 and has released his debut Ep - Chronicles of Time and Space in June 2020.

2021 brings us our 10th episode of our “ELEMENTS” series, featuring a relatively new project from Mexico, ACTIVE FORMS. Although the project is new, the minds behind it have been making music for some time. Breathead (15 years) + Noise Wares (4 years) = ACTIVE FORMS (2 years)
They have created a very unique sound with this project with inspirations from twilight, forest and ofcourse mind altering psychedelics.

Active Forms are Vicente Marin (a.k.a Breathead) and Ismael Rodríguez (a.k.a Noise Wares) from the state of Guanajuato and where the project was also born. These 2 psychonauts and artists combine their talents to give life to the Active Forms project, becoming a reference in the Mexican psy scene in their state. They have collaborated with great artists in their productions and so far they have appeared in some of the most recognized Psytrance festivals at the national level such as: Ocelotl Festival, Psycristrance, and Tierra Mágica 5. They have made releases in several international labels such as: PsynOpticz Records , Purple Hexagon Records, and Digital Shamans Records to name a few.

A dj from 2016, creating his own music since 2018 and launching his label the same year, he has built a solid following. BIO ::
Xed is the new project name for SiD. He changed his name for several reasons, but whatever. He is the Founder of Patronus records and the man for everything in this brew.
He started Djing in 2016 on several local parties. After some party’s he decided to organize his own events in the Swiss Mountains. After two years of djing he decided to create his own music with big help by some of his friends (Mirror Engine, Metrix, Yaroc a.m.m.). He had the honour to play at some big events like Sangoma Night in Zürich, Utopia Festival in Ticino, Sundaze festival near Basel or Sensory Spectrum (teaser) Party in Oman. In 2018 he officially founded Patronus Records and since then he's putting in great effort and is working for it, with all the fire in his heart. His goals are growing as an individual, giving music lovers and dancers a smile, as well as hosting a family of likeminded people and giving them soil to grow on.

Creator of world quality events and purveyor of universal quality music, PsynOpticz is a forced to be reckoned with. A haven for the like minded and a hub of creativity, it has embraced all aspects of psy-culture. PsynOpticz has it's roots deep in mother Africa but has found it's home in hearts and dancefloors worldwide. 

The concept of PsynOpticz was seeded in the thriving Cape Town indoor scene in 2006, where it flourished, providing the CT masses with cream of the crop local and international talent on a weekly basis. These events quickly gained an ardent following and were renowned for their stellar lineups, immersive psychedelic decor and energising vibe! 

With this experience and ever growing support, it became inevitable that PsynOpticz branch out into the outdoors, providing South Africa with it's staple annual event, Jungala Festival.

It has its own special flavour and design, with the goal to create an all encompassing experience that removes you from the mundane and transports you to an interactive psychedelic wonderland, a completely synergistic and harmonious journey from beginning to end. These festival hosts fresh talent as well as headliners, both homegrown and from around the globe, establishing the network that would eventually culminate in the evolution of PsynOpticz from event organiser to a record label.

The mastermind behind PsynOpticz, Calvin aka SwiTcHcaChe, has developed a keen ear for prospective acts, being both organiser as well a DJ. By committing to bringing out new and exciting acts to Cape Town, he uncovered many artists that share his love for non-generic and energetic psychedelic music, and his desire grew to expose this incredible music to the unsuspecting psy masses. Currently, the PsynOpticz stable is represented by artists from around the globe, each bringing their own unique approach and sound to the psychedelic world stage.

The driving force behind PsynOpticz is their ignitable passion and deep love of the culture and music. The label grows from strength to strength daily, fueled by the positive response and endless smiles experienced on a PsynOpticz dance-floor, or anywhere the music is played and enjoyed.
