Reincarnation is an ancient philosophical and spiritual idea that the immortal essence of a living being, leaving one body, continues its journey in another, opening new cycles of existence.

We are proud to present a compilation that embodies this eternal process in musical form. VA – Reincarnation unites the past, present, and future of Goa Trance, creating a cosmic journey — both musical and visual.

The tracklist includes:

- unique remixes of fundamental masterpieces from the golden era of the 90s;
- fresh works by renowned masters of the new school;
- creations of rising stars of the scene;
- and a rare hidden gem — an authentic track from the 90s by Goa Phantasm.

Together, they form a grand musical canvas inspired by science fiction, visions of distant worlds, and dreams of interstellar travel.

A special milestone for us — for the very first time in the history of Global Sect, the label is releasing a vinyl edition. The record features four breathtaking remixes on Man With No Name, Pleiadians, Chi-A.D. and Etnica.

For this debut vinyl, we worked with some of the industry’s finest. Mastering and lacquer cutting were carried out by Beau Thomas (Ten Eight Seven Mastering), known for working on numerous releases of the legendary Aphex Twin. The vinyl production itself was entrusted to the iconic Dutch factory Record Industry (Haarlem).

Visual art plays no less an important role in this project. The design of the vinyl, CDs, cassettes, as well as fluorescent T-shirts and backdrops, is based on one of the earliest artworks created by our long-time friend and collaborator — Ahankara Art.

And that’s not all! As a special gift, we prepared a musical AI video clip for the remix of the timeless classic Teleport by Man With No Name.

Don’t miss this week’s PsyBaBas Radio show with virtual guest, Fractalia.

Fractalia aka Walhalla project: is the side project of Vova Landyak, that concentrated on the dark side of psytrance dimension. Vova was born in USSR just before it got split, and the area become Ukraine, in 1999 his family moved to Israel, where Vova heard a goa tunes for the first time, and got his musical background, all began with the classic guitar lessons, that lead to electric guitar, that lead to becoming a member of the local death metal band where he played at his high school ages. After a short survey at IDF, he studied synthesis and sound design at Resonance college, in Tel Aviv 2006 – 2010, where he met Alex Glazin, and the Walhalla project was born, at first it was twilight, psytrance tunes. At 2011 after the India trip, and the first Walhalla gigs at Goa and over India, the two got split, and Vova was moving the flag of Walhalla and transforming the sound to faster psychedelic, ultra dynamic tunes. At 2014 after Vova moved, to Germany / Berlin, and on the first winter, inspired by coldness and the darkness, Fractalia was born!!! Together with establishing CyberBay records, with his partner Alex Volnik (Zentagon), where the first tracks, of Fractalia was released, at VA – 11:11 PM, the first EP – Digital Mantra was released at 2017 on CyberBay, and the Collaborated EP – Sumerki with Grainripper was release in 2018 also on Cyberbay records… In this days Vova just released a 3rd Walhalla album, The Vision, and working on the new Fractalia EP, that will be released in 2019. Creator of world quality events and purveyor of universal quality music, PsynOpticz is a forced to be reckoned with. A haven for the like minded and a hub of creativity, it has embraced all aspects of psy-culture. PsynOpticz has it's roots deep in mother Africa but has found it's home in hearts and dancefloors worldwide. 

The concept of PsynOpticz was seeded in the thriving Cape Town indoor scene in 2006, where it flourished, providing the CT masses with cream of the crop local and international talent on a weekly basis. These events quickly gained an ardent following and were renowned for their stellar lineups, immersive psychedelic decor and energising vibe! 

With this experience and ever growing support, it became inevitable that PsynOpticz branch out into the outdoors, providing South Africa with it's staple annual event, Jungala Festival.

It has its own special flavour and design, with the goal to create an all encompassing experience that removes you from the mundane and transports you to an interactive psychedelic wonderland, a completely synergistic and harmonious journey from beginning to end. These festival hosts fresh talent as well as headliners, both homegrown and from around the globe, establishing the network that would eventually culminate in the evolution of PsynOpticz from event organiser to a record label.

The mastermind behind PsynOpticz, Calvin aka SwiTcHcaChe, has developed a keen ear for prospective acts, being both organiser as well a DJ. By committing to bringing out new and exciting acts to Cape Town, he uncovered many artists that share his love for non-generic and energetic psychedelic music, and his desire grew to expose this incredible music to the unsuspecting psy masses. Currently, the PsynOpticz stable is represented by artists from around the globe, each bringing their own unique approach and sound to the psychedelic world stage.

The driving force behind PsynOpticz is their ignitable passion and deep love of the culture and music. The label grows from strength to strength daily, fueled by the positive response and endless smiles experienced on a PsynOpticz dance-floor, or anywhere the music is played and enjoyed.
