A cube is a geometric, three-dimensional shape. Each of the six square faces is equal and creates a steady, strong but predictable form. However, what happens when somebody manages to see beyond the ordinary shape?

What happens when a person starts to treat this cube as a Rubik's Cube, and create a complex and creative new form? This might be exactly the case of Cubixx, aka Mattias Sperlich.

Sperlich was born and raised in Berlin, Germany, and was deeply influenced by the growing Electronic genre boom that emerged after the wall broke down. He bought his first vinyl when he was 16 years old (Cosmic Baby - '+') and was fascinated with the new sounds, especially the ones that came from Eye Q and Hard House records. He had begun to explore his mixing skills in 1993, and realized it will take many hours of hard work for him to figure out how to master the DJ art form. But Sperlich was too stubborn to give up, and his persistence in achieving perfection made him practice like a maniac for the next 2 years. After endless months of practice, Sperlich could mix from his sleep, and that was the time to get out of the bedroom and into the dance floor. His DJ name at that time was Cubic, and he performed all over Germany with the new Techno sounds.

In every person's life there is a turning point, something that changes the whole point of view on life, career and the future. For Sperlich it was the birth of his son in 1999, which made him rethink the whole idea of being part of the music industry. He wanted to get more 'serious' and so he went to study Media Design for Picture and Sound, where he graduated in 2005. He started as a camera assistant at TV studios and then progressed to the Graphic department at a TV company called Cine Plus. After accomplishing the 'responsible' part of his life, and working as a professional VFX artist for cinema and TV, he still felt that something is missing. Although he decided to put aside his musical career, it haunted his unconscious mind, and started to bubble slowly and gradually after he went to Fusion in 2001. In that festival, he had his first encounter with Psychedelic Trance, and was immediately hooked.

This uncontrolled fascination with Psychedelic Trance brought Sperlich back to the decks, with a new and improved version of himself – Cubixx.

He was deeply influenced by the uprising Progressive Trance genre, led by Iboga records, and was especially enchanted by Vibrasphere, Atmos and Phony Orphans.  It wasn’t long after that together with Marcus Felter, Sperlich formed a project named Koaxkaos. They tried to find a label that will release their debut album, but didn’t find one they liked, and so Cubixx decided to do what many other disappointed artists do – open a label.

In 2005 Iono Music was born in an attempt to bring a fresh, innovative and creative new label. Having a stable and independent ground from his other career; Sperlich was able to run Iono in his vision of high standards and originality. Being a devoted family guy in his personal life, he knew it is the best way to operate a project that is dear to his heart, and so he implemented it in Iono Music as well. The overwhelming success of Iono Music was a clear sign that this kind of label was missing in the Psychedic Trance music industry. It was also a sign for Cubixx that he needs to devote huge amounts of energies in order to grow his new baby, into a professional living organism. Being the mother and father of Iono Music, Sperlich is juggling between being a label manager, A & R and a Booking Manager, to keep a clear and consistent musical agenda that benefits the whole family.   

Today, Cubixx has mastered his Rubik's Cube, turning it each time into a different direction while preserving the main structure that keeps him strong and secure. In a never ending quest for excellent music for Iono Music and
his DJ sets, he evolves and conquers new regimes, but never forgets to keep his legs on the ground.

Daniel Goldman(Naturalize) - Born in Denmark began DJing & producing in the early 2008s. Daniel started to involve himself in music at a very young age. His great passion for music eventually began into playing several instruments, exploring many genres and finally fell for electronic music in 2008. As a young DJ he soon created his own sound

He was so engaged with music that (Toby Liya/Querox) owner of Prog on Syndicate records signed him just 1 year later. On today, he made several Top 10 releases, not to mention his track "Faithful Souls" which entered Beatport top100 releases number #1 for more than 2 weeks which only a few artists has done. He is now signed to one of the biggest labels - Blue Tunes Records which is founded by (Sirko & Stephan Wötanowski better known as Symphonix) and with Spin Twist Records as his publisher he also started to release music there.

His main drive was to develop a truly fresh and unique new style of music, which truely came to words when he release his EP "The Modern World" which included the famous and popular track "Fanjazztic"
Naturalize got an instant success when his EP was released in the beginning of 2012. Afterwards the sound was unstoppable.
With the sound of hard pumping, uplifting, melodic, bouncy basses and funky grooves Naturalize has influenced the Progressive scene with his unique sound.

With the appearance of Naturalize, he has already played at some of the biggest Open air festivals and indoor parties in Europe, like: Indian Spirit, Psychedelic Circus, Airbeat One, Summer Dream, Herrenstag, Endless Summer, Vaikuntha, Somnambul,Tam Tam and many many more.

Static Movement has had music running through his veins since he was born in Ukraine 1984 as Shahar Shtrikman. Inspired by his talented Mother’s piano playing, Shahar too was playing this classic instrument at the tender age of six.  In 1990 he moved to Tel Aviv, Israel with his family. A few years later in 1996 some friends introduced him to Trance music, and it wasn’t long until Shahar was using the program  ‘Impulse Tracker’ to produce his own music under his first act name ‘Impulser’.

Wanting to further improve his skills, Shahar later studied sound engineering, whilst simultaneously gaining lots of hands on experience working for Oz Studios; recording Rock & Metal music via a combination of analog and digital equipment. 

By 2011 his act ‘Static Movement’ was born. It was through beautiful melodies, captivating story telling, and high sound quality production skills that Static Movement became hugely successful. Shahar was able to express his intense deep feelings into the music and create his magical signature sound; that resonated with so many. The release of 6 albums (‘Circle of ‘Life, ‘Sol’, ‘Sian’, ‘Simin’, ‘Voices from Heaven’ and ‘Underwater’), more than 100 tracks on major labels including: Iono Music, Iboga Records, Spintwist Records, Blue Tunes Records and his own label Sol Records, collaboration singles with legends of the scene like Ranji, Sesto Sesto, Cosmic Tone and Gaudium; as well as remixing for high calibre artists; Morten Granau, Liquid Soul, Protonica  and Vini Vici; has solidified Static Movement as a stable headlining act in the scene; playing gigs all over the world.

In 2019 he embarked on a new and independent path to build artists and release music for them as well as his own music - and for this reason his label Sol Records was created. The first release on the label was with the album Simin, named after Shahar’s wife.  This epic label releases music showcasing the entire spectrum of psy-trance and techno; from 125-150bpm, and has released close to 400 tracks to date; and proved to be an amazing platform promoting artists from across the Globe. 

In 2020 Shahar also opened an artist agency called Beta Music. Building on the trust created with numerous artists and event producers over the years around the world - Shahar has successfully created a large network of booking agencies, label managers, event producers, artists and DJs who cooperate with each other in harmony and friendship  - with music being the catalyst that unites them all.

And in 2023 Shahar and his wife began a production called Children of the Sun. The  name came from the idea that Shahar’s music illuminates and also the fact that all of Shahar’s family have names that begin with the letter S in English. His wife Simin, eldest daughter Sol, son Sian, and youngest daughter Sun. Shahar has made an album for each of them, and really feels that ‘we are all children of the Sun’.  They have done over 10 events in Israel, and hosted the best leading artists in the world such as Ranji, Whitenoize, Berg, Reality Test, Z-cat, along with other artists from the label and agency. The production was established out of the need and desire to give a stage to budding artists; to help promote them and their music and give them a rare and real opportunity to showcase their talent! 

The fact that along with nurturing his own career, Shahar has created these additional platforms to help others - is a testament to the unwavering passion, pure dedication and raw love that Shahar aka Static Movement has for music!
