This consists of the initial awakening, progresses through stages of heightened awareness and mystical visions, reaches a peak of cosmic communion, and finally returns to a state of calm introspection. The overarching theme is that of transformation, reflecting the ebb and flow of a psychedelic journey.

The music draws inspiration from the natural patterns that occur in nature. In this week’s State Alchemy “Exclusives” series, a Jedi in training known as Young Padawan has graced us with a high energy hour of power for your listening pleasure! Also known as Luca to his friends, the Young Padawan feels the light side and the dark side within his force, he operates in a range from Psy-tech and dark prog (Luca-kaya project) all the way up to the night time full energy tempos of 150 - 175bpm.
Young Padawan has been heavily influenced by the psychedelic scene and culture all around him since his very young years, even seeing the Noisy Radical crew in full swing!  He began to find his own flavor through his years of training with Jedi Knights and Masters such as Tersius Kabi, Psydewise, Dave Mac & Daroom. Integration between all these influences refined his jedi abilities and has already granted him the opportunity to play at a few of the top festivals in South Africa such as Afrikaburn, Vortex Open Source, Southern Tipsy, Vortex Awakening and Vortex Phoenix.

In the next hour expect nothing but full power coming from this soon-to-be Jedi Master, featuring a lot of music that has influenced him through his years in the Order of Jedi….
