Zounds! A midweek treat for the weary psychedelic travelers shackled to desks and manning the meatpacking lines. Perched on the precipice of a massive fall tour complete with a stunning new live show and a gaggle of special guests, Ott has blessed The Untz with unholy water (it stings) and a fancy new single hot off the presses and straight from the laboratory. "Baby Robot" is a lush, symphonic piece oozing with walls of cushy synths and a hypnotic beat that laps up against the ethereal vox like waves on the shore.

The B-Side "Mr. Balloon Hands" is a trippy, broken beat opus riddle with Indian raga scatting and plenty of exotic percussion to get those tired feet moving. Bouncy, buoyant, and ebullient, this cut will push you over onto the safety of the weekend whereupon Ott triumphantly returns to the great state of Colorado with a pair of shows on the 13th and 14th: first at the Mish up near Ft. Collins, and then Boulder bound on Saturday. The rest of the country need not fret, the brand new show hits cities big and small from coast to coast through the month of September and into October with Bluetech, Anomie Belle, Aligning Minds, and many more incredible acts.

“The sorbet is a very tasty treat for those long, hot summer days.”

Sorbet for the Soul is a collaboration between Globular (UK) (www.facebook.com/Globular) and Radioactive Sandwich (USA) (www.radioactivesandwich.com). This project came about from the desire to combine their amazing talents to create a very special conceptual release. Each artist started with the same set of samples and built their tracks around those sounds. Globular cooked up Lemon, while Radioactive Sandwich provided the tasty Mango. They then traded tracks and reinterpreted the other’s original track. Globular created Mamon from Mango, and Radioactive Sandwich created Lengo from Lemon. The end product is a 4 song EP that flows and blends seamlessly, each track containing flavors from the others, much like a tasty summer frozen treat. The artwork was provided by the insanely talented Sid Basu (www.sidbasu.com).

Psyrius, also known as Andreas Lindholm, is a Psybient/Psychill producer from Stockholm, Sweden. His music blends intricate melodies with deep, atmospheric soundscapes, inviting listeners to embark on immersive sonic journeys. Drawing inspiration from space, nature, and themes of introspection, Psyrius’ music connects on an emotional level, taking listeners beyond the everyday and into the realms of the soul.

The name Psyrius came to life in the early 2000s when Andreas was searching for an artist name. Gazing up at the stars, he found himself drawn to a particular star, Sirius. At the time, his music revolved around Psytrance, so he combined “Psy” with “Sirius,” forming Psyrius — a name that reflects both his cosmic inspirations and his roots in Psytrance.

His upcoming album, Return to Sol, revisits his earlier work, Sorry Pluto, with a modern touch. Reimagined and meticulously refined, each track offers a fresh yet familiar experience, showcasing his dedication to evolving as an artist.
