Gee Dee lives in New York, where he deejays and makes music. He's co-founded Earth Beat, is a resident at Good Room in Brooklyn, and plays regularly at Philadelphia's long-running party Making Time. He also has a new live project with Juan MacLean called Infinity Machine, and hot solo releases for Planet Trip Records, Superior Elevation Records, and Light of Other Days.

About the mix: 
For this mix I took a dive into meditative club music. A whole lot from the early to mid 90s, a few classics with a couple of newer bits peppered in. Mostly CD's. A few ambient people trying their hand at tribal downtempo stuff, some left-of-center house and new beat, a couple of trance tracks and a few peak-time rave goodies. Mostly pitched down to a slightly more manageable speed ;)

The quartet from France are a steady fixture in the world of modern digging. Colin, Guillaume, Romain and Xavier originally met in Marseille but are now all based in Paris where they very successfully continue their hunt for the unknown (seldom above the 110 BPM mark). 

The now-Parisian taste-makers do not only have one of the most excellently curated Youtube Channels out there, they recently also proved that they are very capable Editors themselves on the most recent (and excellently curated) Orange Tree Edits (Vol. 8). 

For 5918mins., they provide nothing short of a masterclass of modern digging - which left us astonished and (dare we say it) even a bit envious given the sheer endless amount of unknown treasures comprised in this mix. So without further ado, let's dive right into 111 mins. of pure digging pleasure.

The second mix of the series is from Púca Sounds co-founder and Jogada member @murrinmusic ! He takes you on a 2 hour journey, blending early influences of Jazz & World music with his more current interest of Electronic, Balearic & Latin grooves.

This mix was recorded on a dull January day in Berlin when most of my friends had left the city for sunnier destinations, and i guess i was hoping to feel the sunshine through my selections :) On the menu is a combo of washy guitars, trippy percussion, jazzy breaks, afro & latin grooves with a hint of hope for spring.
