Morita Vargas is an experimental music producer and performer from Argentina, part of a new Latin American movement of women who inspire curiosity and deep listening. She explores new sonic pathways for a more sensitive society, crafting hypnotic atmospheres and textures in each track, singing in an invented language.  
She has released two albums: *8* (published by Hidden Harmony Recordings - Estonia) and *Mandrágora* (published by Autogénesis Magazine - Germany), both rooted in ambient, dream-pop, and fantasy soundscapes.

On this second episode of the mix series brought to us by Cami Lakonic, she does a deep dive between the (previously unknown to her) Argentinian techno scene of the 90's and early 2000s and the Berlin scene, covering huge grounds in between. Sparked by the discovery of a live set on YouTube by 'Ocio', an Argentinian electronic duo made up of the iconic 'Flavius Etcheto', one of the pioneers of electronic music in the region, and the legendary Gustavo Cerati of Soda Stereo fame, a concept that was circling in Cami's unconscious took shape: 'the infamous washing machine', something that she already shared with us on our second show at 90mil radio (check it here: https://www.mixcloud.com/90milradio/puddle-hosted-by-chasys-3/) and that references a style of electronic music, specially within techno - a sort of work around the hypnotising circular loop structure, that she started recognising in various places. This synapsis moment sent her down a rabbit hole of research and re-discovery, not only finding new and old music, but also revising her entire journey since she moved to Berlin all those years ago.
