Vultures, birds of prey who are known for scavenging deceased animals, while often preying on extremely weak or wounded prey. This is who SaviXXTreme considers himself to be at this stage in his life. He preys on every moment to be a better version of himself, while keeping his opposition at bay to where there’s no opposition anymore. Being able to establish himself as not only an artist but a pure songwriter in this era where every other artist’s music in this scene (SoundCloud) sounds the same proves in his case that the dark side of human nature comes with its benefits. 

“This is me being myself again, well more so making more of what I know sounds good,” SaviXXTreme tweeted a month before this release. On his senior album, he gives reassurance to his emotions more than ever, breaking into familiar subjects like heartbreak (“damage”), self-acceptance (“i hate this song and i hate you”), depression ( “…and here I lay”), and adding more performance-grade anthems to his catalogue with “bang like ashley” and “polaroid.” Being his first album on the 20x Records label, he kept in the family with heavyweight features from Jaytee, Blicka D’ZHAN and SeanDaDon. “It’s gonna be a whole different feel…a much more mature album than the others,” giving a nod to his growth as an adult and a singer-songwriter altogether.

“Still in my prime i think it’s time to break the ceiling again” SaviXXTreme raps on “welcome to the family.” Being fully aware of where his skills as an artist were through the past two years, he knew he could peak once again going into 2021 and this album. Moving out of NYC granted him the golden ticket of getting more time to himself where being alone is the perfect space to prepare for battle. Songs like “315 interlude,” “trip,” and “graduation,” help maintain the theme of this project, keeping composure in the lowest of moments and taking the opportunity to strike when needed. Every track has its home on this album, making for a comfortable and atmospheric listen throughout.
