📀 Kraftakt 📀

✍️ Leicht verkartet und in der kalten Jahreszeit insbesondere, fällt es schwer sich aufzuraffen. Wenig Tiefschlaf und bleierne Leere im Kopf, tragen ihrerseits wenig zum produktiven Tagwerk bei. Doch es gibt Aufgaben, die können nicht weiter aufgeschoben werden. Gewisse Pflichten erfordern die volle, zumindest die bestmögliche, persönliche Leistungsbereitschaft. An diesen Tagen und unter solchen Umständen kann es dann schon einmal länger dauern. Das aufraffen, das verrichten der Aufgabe selbst, einfach alles was Energie benötigt. Doch wie schwer wir es uns auch manchmal selbst machen, mit einem disziplinierten Kraftakt wird es schon gelingen. 

🎵 Der heutige KataHaifisch Podcast ist mal wieder einer der gemütlichen Sorte. PULLI & CHOMBA lassen es für diese Ausgabe ganz entspannt angehen. Ausgeglichen und ein wenig verträumt fließt ein Track in den anderen hinein. Wo der eine endet und der andere beginnt, wird zu einer Frage der Perspektive. Aus vielen kleinen Einzelteilen entsteht ein fluides großes Ganzes. 

Dieses Set ist wie dafür gemacht, um sich an einem gräulichen Wintertag doch noch etwas Farbe abzuholen. Dankeschön für diesen Moment ❤️

Ok Moyn Moyn you got our hearts…. 

It was a really special show for us at Wilde Hilde. Since we usually get invited to play the early nights, around 18/19 o'clock we were surprised to play a total night show at the beautiful Wilde Hilde Stage. So this time we were asked to change the time slot with O/Y and Gunilla and spontaneously changed our Saturday afternoon slot to the Friday night slot at 23:00. And it just felt amazing. Seeing all the colorful, glittery dancing totems and all the dancing, happy faces in the lights of the fire and light show was totally magic. So far the biggest stage and craziest Festival experience for this year. 

Thanks to all the crazy dancers who accompanied us through the night and sorry for everybody who came to see us on Saturday and couldn’t find us. But anyway, the lineup at this stage was a total blast - really good music all over - from deep to bouncy, there was everything that our hearts could have wished for.

It was a Saturday at 4 pm, the sun was shining on the island and people were shining too - happy, no worries in sight, just enjoying life. Some people were even dancing in the water. Friends dancing in the back and up front, while Cookie whipped up some mouthwatering cocktails – it was an all-around beautiful scene, a perfect afternoon.

Thanks to all the sweet people who made that possible.

We will carry that sunny afternoon for a looong time in our hearts. 🧡🧡

It was an immeasurable honor to grace the Seebühne, the very stage where - eight years past - I first encountered a moment of enchanting fusion. In those days, Timboletti wove his melodies and I was enveloped by a multitude of wondrous souls, leaving me completely overwhelmed. When I got the offer for the 4:30 playtime I was shaking in the beginning because I expected the night to be super dark and clubby, wondering how my dreamy sound could compete with the powerful sets. A few hours before my gig I started to realize that it's starting to get bright at 4:00 already so I quickly adjusted my set, not finishing with a climax like typical but rather getting dreamy and moody towards the end, leaving some space for daylight feelings :)

this gig at Velvet Soup was wonderful, because of the wonderful crowd that came out this morning, but it also may have been one of the most chaotic gigs ever :D It started with my live computer failing on me, so I had to quickly copy the tracks of my set onto my USB so I could play the Set I prepared on CDJs. "Luckily" the stage had half an hour delay, because the power went out earlier due to the insanely heavy rain, so I had time to do so. With the Allen & Heath Mixer there, that doesn't have Reverb and doesnt send the Microphone Input to the DJ Monitors, it wasn't possible to add any live vocals. I wouldn't have much time to sing anyway, because I had to help set up the record players for the lovely Sutsches while playing. Didn't really matter though because the recording failed as well anyway. I rerecorded my set though (without the one time the CDJ got briefly unpowered), so I could still share all this new tunes with you guys <3 It includes some new collabs with @sydkasd , @ueberhaupt_ausserdem and @monolink and remixes for @temple-tears, @hannesbieger @guylalibertedj @soulofzoo and @kon-faber & Javid

But when we saw all of your beautifully created dancing sticks and happy faces smiling at us all the nervous feelings turned into pure bliss and joy. We feel very honored to have experienced this with you and will never forget this beautiful ride from the sunset into the night.

A few years ago, we dreamed of playing at a festival like this. Our first time at Bucht der Träumer was truly a blessing.

We played at 12:00 on the Saga stage, right after Urem and Ouhana, who had set the stage on fire. We tried to harness that energy to start an unforgettable Sunday rave 💫

Pulli & Chomba @ Creatures Corner - Mystic Creatures Festival | 2024

Producer-Duo based between Santiago de Chile and Berlin.
Their sound: Groovy Organic, dreamy Melodic and some darkness too.  
Part of Mystic Creatures (Berlin), Underyourskin Records (worldwide) and O’Tawa (Paris).
When Pulli & Chomba met barefoot on the most famous beach of Berlin's Club scene in 2017, it was immediately clear that their love for electronic music unites them.  With the fusion of german and chilean essence they bring a vibrant presence to the stage and put your hearts to dance - preferably under a soap bubble rain.  Creating their own sounds by modifying field recordings and vocals with dynamic effects, combined with synths and organic beats, has led them to release their EPs and tracks on labels like Mystic Tales, down., Underyourskin Records, Monada, KataHaifisch or Serafin Audio Imprint.  Their Sets are rooted in organic grooves - adorned with some shades of darkness, enjoying the flow between the genres Organic House, Melodic Techno and Indie Dance. Since 2022, their journey has led them to play some international shows and Festivals and you can regularly find them play at Berlin’s renowned Clubs like Kater Blau, Sisyphos, Mensch Meier and Beate Uwe.  Joining forces with internationally known Labels is paving their way to more Soap Bubble Parties in the future. You can find them as part of Berlin’s Crew Mystic Creatures, Underyourskin Records and Parisian Label O’Tawa.
