If you look for a single word to describe this band, it must be “unusual”.

Originally created in 2011, this 4-piece alternative rock band based in Ireland has been acquiring its own style, influenced by many grunge, riot grrrl, industrial rock and good ol' Rock and Roll formations.

Patricia Ayllon, original from Madrid, was the former bass player of Poppies' Infusion, a Riot Grrrl band from Colmenar Viejo. Her influences going from the Seattle Sound all the way to Psychobilly, through goth, alternative and punk bring a fresh, bold and psychedelic approach to Johnny Horne's sound.

Lukas is Lithuanian by nationality. He started playing drums in secondary school in Public Secret and carried on with the indie sounds the band emitted, before joining a hard rock band React. Finally, his punk roots and a long lasting itch for energetic and expressive performance have been satisfied with his arrival at Johnny Horne.

The frontman, German Garcia started playing guitar in a punk rock band back in Benidorm, Spain, when he was just 14 years old. After that, he opened up to a wider range of styles, going through metal, industrial, goth and finally grunge.

On the 19th of April 2013, Garry Lynch joined Johnny Horne, bringing with him his solid guitar sound.

Fuzz distortions, heavy bass lines, badass drums and powerful, direct lyrics: That’s all in all what Johnny Horne's about.

Petals And Thorns is an American musical duo, formed in 2009 in Cleveland, Ohio.  The duo is a female/male studio collaboration between vocalist Mia Petals and multi-instrumentalist/producer Johnny Thorns.  Combining sometimes fragile, yet sometimes cabaret, and other times angelic female vocals against gritty guitars, haunting synths, and delicate piano sounds; they create what comes across as darkwave/electronic/rock with a touch of metal.

Petals And Thorns has released one studio album:
"The Broken Mirror" (2014).
