REMUTE IN THE MIX WITH 2 x AMIGA 600 + PT1210 mk1  MAY 2014

Revolving around a percussive pattern and bass riff created by the Ploytec Pi Lambda squared (PL2) synthesizer, this track is an exercise in blending early nineties computer sounds, modular synthesis and stuttering beats into an overall sci-fi feel.

Steam-Machines' Island (YAMAHA PSS-270)

Testing my latest creation - an unholy abomination of a beeper engine created by mating Shiru's Phaser with zilogat0r's Squeeker. It features four operators that can either run independantly or be linked together to create more complex timbres. It also features FX tables and a load of other customizable parameters.

The intro and first part demonstrates the 4-channel mode, in which the engine basically acts as a Squeeker Plus clone.

In the second part, operators 1 and 2 are linked to create the phasing bass, while channel 3 and 4 make some use of the fx table feature.

In the first half of the third part, various different configurations for the two-op mode on ch1 are demonstrated, including the SID and Earth Shaker effects. The other channels are silent save for some occasional noise (this time without using tables, hence it sounds more rough).

In the second half of the third part, the single channel mode is demonstrated with 3 and 4 operators in use, and various different configurations of phase, detune, coupling mode and so on.

There's obviously no XM converter for this, so for the time being you'll have to hand-code the music in asm, like I did with this demo tune.

As músicas remetem a sonoridades vindas de diversos ritmos como steppa, dub, techno, capoeira, maracatu e tambor de terreiro.

The only toy used - CASIO CT-670 home-keyboard from 1992. 
But this time - also with a sequencer - ATARI 520ST with Cubase 2.1 (both from 80s).

I always wanted to have the CT-670 to see what it can do. Well, MANY interesting instruments + some synthesizer section: nice. 
Still, there's only 4 channels of MIDI and also usage of the MIDI itself it's highly unclear here (but possible to use nevertheless).
