The boys are skating back into action with “Apprentice,” a three tracker featuring staple cuts from their Punch Drunk Love residency at Output’s Panther Room which first appeared on Frank & Tony's much-lauded Resident Advisor podcast. The EP opens with the title track’s propulsive funk bouncing along, building rapidly before setting the stage for a sample-led breakdown sure to foster eyes closed elation. Next, the deep-sea throb of “Lamento” shimmers like beams of moonlight piercing the water’s surface before a hi-hat shuffle stirs it into an after-hours stomper. Bringing things down nicely is the strut of “Modest Season,” it’s hushed drums anchoring the track as rain drop-like keys drift in and out like the calls of sirens at sunrise.

The release contains two mystical groovers in 'Toé' and 'Respira', which come strapped with top notch remixes from NU and Dance Spirit respectively. Label stalwart NU delivers a fifteen minute epic in his rework of 'Toé'. The mysterious Berlin-based producer has crafted a slow-rolling production that builds effortlessly to an ethereal climax. The atmospheric touches are sufficient to lift the listener away as the track chugs slowly to completion.

A few times a year, house heads, yogis, burners, and creative types from all walks come together to celebrate music, sunshine, and the rest of life’s small pleasures at what have come to be known as the Helios Parties. It was at one such gathering tucked away in the hills of uptown San Diego that long-time partners-in-crime Aroarer and Grim Avenue met DJ and musician Jaadio, and a collaborative effort was hatched. “Drive On” is the product of that collaboration. With its mournful horns and Aroarer’s signature strong vocals, “Drive On” echoes the pair’s previous work, but with a freshness and attention to detail that is a step ahead of past efforts.

Additionally to the sedately bouncy “No One”, and the somber and meditative “Gilded Years.” the EP features some epic remixers by ANIMAM, Gabriel & Tunnelvision.

spending hours in the studio sure had an effect on the musical change

but we still can hear the colours of the caribbean in the vocals making it a

very interesting ride listening to his music

It was the summer of 2010 working late recording the track Universe

that the project aquarius heaven really was created

making it official with the release of " before u go " on the watergate 06 mix of DOP

and now the release of his first EP "7days " with circus company

Born the 7th of february 1981 thus the name Aquarius (waterman) ,also having the 

same birthday with Clement (dop) this was one of the factors leading to the name 

Aquarius heaven

For a very special episode of the Hushlamb Free Range Show, special guests Dualism share a lengthy mix of tunes that lend themselves to the more experimental side of the duo's tastes as DJs.

Dualism is a Zurich, Switzerland based duo comprised of Kwamina and Gab, who come from a diverse background of graphic design and theatre, two disciplines that have influenced their techno-based minimal grooves through a keen ear for detailed aesthetics.

While Dualism perform live regularly (including at Sugar Beach for the 2012 debut of our Sound In Motion festival in Toronto), this episode of Free Range contains a DJ mix of tracks recorded on four decks, which the duo describes as containing a lot of "experimental, trip hop, and other stuff."
