Since a young age, Cesar has been part of multiple music projects in his home town Neuquen & also Buenos Aires, playing bass and doing the arrangements for many rock/pop bands.
On this particular release, you can find the inspiration and the influence from Gustavo Ceratti and Soda Stereo.
Cesar is a professional vocalist performer, and Whirpool is not an exception to listen to him (with a finest vocoder fx on the lyrics...).

When I think of this song, it takes me back to the memory of Mar Azul, my dear Italian friend who travels the world with her harp ...

We met a few years ago at a spirituality congress in Villa La Angostura, Patagonia Argentina (the place I chose as my home for so many years). I was coordinating the selection of artists who would participate in the meeting and the music connected us.

One September afternoon in Barcelona in 2022, between chats and anecdotes, we sat down to sing and play the piano, when she said to me "Could you improvise a song thinking of Patagonia?" And so it happened.

I closed my eyes and began to see very clear images of the Patagonian forest, on the edge of the famous Nahuel Huapi lake, and the mental pictures were leading me to the Machete river. The lichens on the rocks, the water flowing down the waterfall, the majestic coihue trees rising up to the sky...
I surrendered to such immensity and burst into tears. A part of me is still completely connected to the mountains and will ever be.

Cuando pienso en esta canción, me lleva al recuerdo de Mar Azul, mi querida amiga Italiana que recorre el mundo con su arpa …

Nos habíamos conocido unos años atrás en un congreso de espiritualidad en Villa La Angostura, Patagonia Argentina (el lugar que elegí como mi hogar durante tantos años). Yo coordinaba la selección de artistas que participarían durante el encuentro y la música nos conectó.

Volvimos a reencontrarnos una tarde de septiembre en Barcelona allá por 2022. Entre charlas y anécdotas, nos sentamos a cantar y tocar el piano, cuando me dijo “¿Podrías improvisar una canción pensando en la Patagonia?” Y así sucedió.

Cerré los ojos y comencé a ver imágenes muy nítidas del bosque patagónico, al borde del famoso lago Nahuel Huapi y las fotos mentales me iban conduciendo hasta el río Machete. Los líquenes sobre las piedras, el agua que baja por la cascada, los majestuosos coihues alzándose hacia el cielo…
Me rendí ante tanta inmensidad y estallé en llanto. Una parte de mi sigue completamente conectada a ese lugar. Cuando eres de la montaña, nunca dejas de ser de la montaña.

Así es la Patagonia…“

The third single from the album Hipnosis arrives with "Circus", a return to joy...

On her 30th birthday, Violeta is going through the departure of her mother, her best friend and a difficult personal separation. This crisis crumbles her serious, responsible and self-demanding character, which did not allow her to enjoy or be happy. Looking for a way to express all that pain and transform it into life, she returns to the piano in a professional way. 

Circus is that four year old girl playing in her family´s garden in Buenos Aires watching the butterflies fluttering around her, feeling the scent of grass and flowers, while the sun shines on her under the apricot tree. That same child who took her first piano lessons every Monday afternoon after school.

This composition by Violeta invites us to ignite that spark of life and travel back in time to our childhood.

El tercer single del álbum Hipnosis llega con “Circus”, un retorno a la alegría…

Al cumplir sus 30 años, Violeta atraviesa la partida de su madre, su mejor amiga y una difícil separación personal. Esta crisis derrumba su personaje serio, responsable y autoexigente, que no le permitía disfrutar ni ser feliz. Buscando una herramienta para expresar todo ese dolor y transformarlo en vida, ocurre su vuelta al piano de manera profesional. 

Circus es esa niña de cuatro años jugando en el jardín de su casa en Buenos Aires mirando cómo revolotean las mariposas a su alrededor, sintiendo el aroma a césped y flores, mientras el sol la ilumina bajo el árbol de damascos. Esa misma niña que tomaba sus primeras lecciones de piano cada lunes por la tarde. 

Esta composición de Violeta nos invita a encender esa chispa de vida y viajar en el tiempo a nuestra infancia.
