Chris Liebing is synonymous with techno. His legacy is long assured, but his craft never stops evolving. Whether as label head, podcast curator, DJ or producer, he continues to challenge himself and his audience to explore new realms in the electronic world. And often ahead of the curve, too, from the early, hard-edged and loopy 90s sound which is back en vogue today, through his more stripped-back turn of the millennium minimalism and onto the cinematic atmospheres and broader alternative electronica of his latest albums on Mute. It's no stretch to say, then, that Chris Liebing's story is closely connected to the story of techno itself. 

Liebing is considered a global techno ambassador, but his ambitious album projects and direct club tracks excite and innovate as much as any new school star. A proudly forward-thinking attitude ensures that is the case as his DJ tools and studio setup constantly evolve. He continues to be an early adopter of emerging technology, too, just as he was with vinyl controllers, Traktor and when leading the way with full hybrid/live DJing. 

These days, Liebing incorporates an ever wider sphere of sound into his own work. After an eight-year break from full lengths, 2018's Burn Slow on Mute was a creative rebirth that received critical acclaim and confounded all expectations. It was a melancholic mediation on gothic moods, looming apocalyptic landscapes and optimistic broken-beat techno that drew from his childhood love of Depeche Mode, Gary Numan and the New Romantic movement. 

Remixes for Depeche Mode and Goldfrapp followed alongside a collaborative single with Charlotte De Witte, and 2021 brought a second album on Mute, Another Day. It found Liebing exploring all new ways of expressing both his euphoric and melodic side, all with high-grade technical skill and meticulous sonic craft with a range of collaborators from Miles Cooper Seaton to Polly Scattergood. This exceptional form continued into 2023 as he returned to the club with his Love Those Who Fight With Passion And Faith EP on CLR, a passionate and politically charged call to the dance floor that joined Liebing and Luke Slater’s remix of Depeche Mode’s iconic ‘Ghosts Again’ in the first half of the year. 

Born in Giessen and active ever since the 1990s, Liebing has always platformed the talent around him as much as himself: a long time before they were commonplace, he famously helmed his own CLR podcast. For many years, it was the scene's most influential series, with a who's who of international pioneers at the helm. After that came the equally important AM/FM radio show, but now following a hiatus, the CLR podcast is back and pushing a fresh techno agenda, as is his iconic label of the same name.

In its first chapter, CLR stood for Chris Liebing Records, then Create Learn Realize, and now Create Learn Repeat - a subtle evolution that is at the heart of everything Liebing does. The label will always be synonymous with exciting techno and is now back hosting parties and festival stages. 

Though his music is underpinned by pulsating menace and a stomping sense of drama, Liebing himself is friendly with a famous smile. It is the music that motivates him and the freedom that comes with increased experience. These days there are no limits, no expectations, but a continued love for the art and craft of techno that is taking him down all new creative pathways.

In 2009 Rocky Joined forces with his Yoni Oshrat Aka “Ace Ventura” and Together, they formed “Easy Riders” - combining over 30 years of experience in the global electronic scene, from the new, psychedelic high of the 90's, to the full on party music after the millennium, to the progressive and techy rhythms of later years, Easy Riders is here to fuse it all into a powerful, delightful mix of great party-music.

Dado aka Frédéric Holyszewski repeatedly woos crowds and longtime fans to the beat of his new productions. Ranging from solo projects as Deedrah, as he is known in the circuit since 20 years now, or the most recent band formed little over 7 years ago, the KromeAngels, , he stands to face anywhere between 5 to 30 thousand eager fans on gig!!.
Once in the scene in the mid 90’s as a self-made rock band, Vision Quest, Dado met Christophe Drouillet with whom he would form the legendary group Transwave. In only 2 years they reached mind blowing success releasing 4 full length albums in total. The duo gained first hand experience selling and producing the entire CDs themselves from creating the sleeves, recording the albums, and even directing the first video for the international trance hit “Land of Freedom”.

All this experience eagerly propelled Dado to create his first ever studio in a Paris basement. In ’97 he created QuestionMark records to form a structure for French and international artists providing not only a label for promotion but also supporting a recording and production system. The first Deedrah album “Self-Oscillation” was released under this label, as well as 3 compilations “The Groovebox”, “ Anologique” and “Digitale”. The first album “Cypher” was released with the cooperation of TWISTED Rds. UK. Under QuestionMarks label Dado worked alongside artists like TSUYOSHI, SUZUKI, ASTRAL PROJECTION, TALAMASCA, GMS, TOTAL ECLIPSE and remixed for bands like THE DELTA, HALLUCINOGEN , ASTRIX ,KOXBOX and KILLING JOKE.
As if not enough, Dado created another alias “SYNTHETIC” first releasing the fantastic Metalgear with TWISTED Rds, then releasing the first album on SOLSTICE MUSIC. Synthetic being now the alias of choice for more techno 125 bpm oriented recordings ( on labels like IBZ recordings or Mago Mago RDS )
The Dado snowball picked up momentum growing like an avalanche and he, together with DMT NAKOV and SERGE SOUQUE of Total Eclipse came together to form GBU (The Good, The Bad & The Ugly ) still playing at the most important festivals of the techno scene: Sonica, The Glade Mother and Solstice Music Festival in Tokyo. Dado kept busy through contracts with Sony to compose the opening tune and sound effects of the ps2 game Grand Turismo3. Parts of his studio activitIes being nowadays designing loops and sounds for IOS applications ( alongside japanese company "total immersion" based in tokyo )
Instantly his presence became known through his sexy melodic beats, Dado inevitably began attracting world-wide attention to his DJ sets and Lives in destinations all over the world, gaining the opportunity to work alongside different talent who still regard him as a master in the engineering and technical aspect of music production…. His talent and knowledge of music is wide spread as his versatility in style. This is reflected in his multiple groups or ‘personalities’!!! Soon to be released this year a series of Synthetic ep s with is  mate Matt king and and the long awaited second opus from ‘Federico Baltimore’ alter ego!! Many record labels were founded during the Nineties when the Psy-Trance scene experienced its most massive expansion. Undoubtedly many of them made an important contribution to Trance culture - but in the end, barely any survived up to today. In this respect, HOMmega Productions is unparalleled: Founded already in 1997 by Dj Eyal Yankovich (RIP), Moshe Keinan, and Meir Cohen, HOMmega not only became one of the richest in tradition labels of the scene but also one of its strongest driving forces.
Hommega’s roster through the years included key artists to the development of the Psytrance scene such as Astrix, Infected Mushroom, Cosma, Xerox, Sub6, Juno Reactor, PsySex, Yahel, Pixel, Domestic, Space Cat, Skazi, and many others.
