The Aeldari were once a great empire. Unfortunately, after the end of the Necron threat (post War in Heaven) they got bored. So they sought new forms of entertainment, each becoming more and more excessive and depraved. It continued to build, the warp became unstable as the heightened emotions of the Aeldari were channeled into it.

Until reality broke...a new chaos god was born in an explosion of warp energy tearing a massive hole in the galaxy called the eye of terror.

Now with Slaanesh constantly seeking Aeldari souls, they can only lament.
