Alice Deeper Down

Couldn't fit in this experimental track with the current Alice Deeper repertoire so I bombarded this ADD profile to host a side project of the same name.
Although the track is a VST test mostly, hence I didn't take the time to craft a proper lead-in, and the ending is a bit sharp too.

Still, the subject is the apparent collapse of sanity and decency of the world's population, the institutions shaking on their foundations, a completely misguided revolt based on conspiracy nutballery fueled by social media algorithms that were designed simply to have more engagement with these media platforms, as that means more money - and if that means setting people up against one another, creating more and more division - whatever gets people talking, means people interacting with the social media, means more money. Good job. Civilization is on the verge of collapse as a result. Back to the time of Barbarian?

PS. the vocals are NOT my voice. They are a speech synthesizer, one of the VSTs on test in this track.

Euphoriqa feat Colin Powell & Claes Steen - Rainbow Symphony

Welcome to a new song from Euphoriqa featuring Colin Powell & Claes Steen called Rainbow Symphony.

When Claes send his new song (https://soundcloud.com/cermat/rainbow-symphony?si=190d4de5209b45fb8dc0ef5f7f579b6a&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing))   to John, immediately John played with piano a melody to it, and reconstructed the song and made it longer. then send it too Colin, he added drums, bass and guitars to it, and wrote lyrics and recorded samples so for John to consider, he made a new mix, and he send it to Hemmo, so he could re-record all vocals and harmonies.
When Hemmo send his vocal tracks to John, it appeared that the song needed more lyrics, so Colin adjusted the lyrics to the way Hemmo was singing the song, so Hemmo could record it all over again, due to this process, John and Colin had to re-record their backing vocals as well.
When all vocal tracks were done, it appeared that the original drums, bass and guitars needed to be adjusted as well, so the song has now drums, bass and guitars played by Hemmo and Colin.
When everything was mixed, the orchestral instruments needed to be adjusted so it would sound in perfect harmony with all added instruments & vocals, then in the final stage John and Hemmo added some extra accent / additions to make it sound the way we all wanted it to be.

Experimenting with different workflows yielded this. I am feeling the energy of the subject matter, so here it is. Going for textured sounds and very custom homemade sample things, there is a lo fi grit to this one. Hope you enjoy.

And again I'm returning to Fantasy Land...
This time my bunch of misfits are going on a little trip and this short piece could be the background for these scenes.

First was Irish Harp which I wanted to test at last after getting it for free. Three base sounds was the idea that shaped rest of the track on the initially endless loop with time signature set to 3/4 on which I've layered the higher pitched melody that came out organically. Then I thought that I add some vocal VST which I've tested previously on "Have you Seen an Elf?". I wanted to check how it's perform on more intimate ground of folk song.

In my head I had a picture of a medieval inn and a bard starting his musical story. At some point, the picture shifts to a group of heroes travelling through austere, gray and blue, dark and cold places, villages where people in coarse robes work, sometimes rainy, sometimes sunny and green landscapes. Some scenes showing our group from a bird's eye view, slowly and laboriously moving towards the goal. The music ends when they arrive...
Musically, I wanted the initially intimate theme to change, or rather expand, into a symphonic illustration in accordance with the image and the advancing journey. So that, apart from the theme, there would be a depth complementing the image, also more and more distant from the initial location.
