“Want” is the seed of every change. It’s that small but powerful word that turns a desire into a direction, an intention into a path. It’s the moment you recognize what you long for and name it, opening the door to everything that can follow.
The “want” is the starting point: a desire to rediscover oneself and a personal expression born in a moment of inner rediscovery. That’s how “Want” came to life, the original piece by Toshka, capturing this emotional journey in music.
From there, the track found new life through the hands of three dear friends. The first is Miss Evelyn, a Greek DJ with whom I’ve built a wonderful friendship over the years. With her progressive tones and ritualistic melodies, she’s given the remix a strong, evocative character.
Then there are BLVKCAT, the Bulgarian duo of Martin Dimov and Alex Sawyer, who are taking their first steps in music production with great enthusiasm and creativity. They’ve left a unique sonic imprint on the remix, a blend of tribal energy and modern club culture.
Together, we’ve created an EP that’s truly a crossroads of friendship and creativity, where each remix tells a piece of the journey.
