BRASS TRAXX is a Scottish DJ and Founder/Resident of Underground club night Interchange. Having played numerous gigs around Glasgow supporting acts such as Aisha, Nur Jaber and DJ Rush to name a few he has found himself grafting away at perfecting his deep and hypnotic styled sets playing intense sequences and atmospheric pads throughout taking inspiration from acts like Jeroen Search, Sterac and Oscar Mulero. During the lockdown he has kept himself busy joining Electronic Glasgow as a Director and putting on a Virtual Festival back in September with a whole host of Glasgow talent with acts such as Harri from Subby and Lunacy performing alongside him.

Ruben himself has been dj’ing and producing for roughly 3 years now, but his passion really grew when he moved to Amsterdam. His new living room had an old CDJ and a turntable so he started to burn cd’s and collect records.

Clubs like BRET, De School, Club BASIS and party’s like Reaktor and Vault sessions inspired Ruben Visser's mixes and productions. His interest variates in different styles, which led him to a diverse way of mixing. Ruben occupies most of his time expanding his record collection, mixing and producing with now two EP’s released on Bandcamp.

Expect an hour of timeless techno from this passionate artist.

Originally from Lille, Max is a young music enthusiast focusing on energetic, jacking and mental techno. His love for electronic music took another dimension after moving to Berlin in 2017, where he started collecting records from artists like Steve Stoll, Stef Mendesidis, The Advent, and many more. Usually fast, his sets are all about blending the old school and the new school: “bringing together the nostalgia of the 90’ with the freshness of today’s sound is my objective”.

Toujours dans le but de vous faire découvrir de jeunes DJs et producteurs locaux, les Itinéraires Mixes continuent de nous faire voyager à travers des sets électroniques éclectiques. Pour ce 82ème mix, c'est la DJ et productrice techno parisienne @Benabou qui nous propose un set d'un peu plus d'une heure nous plongeant dans un univers musicale sombre et hypnotique envoûtant.

C'est en parcourant les rayons de vinyles d'Europe que Benabou s'est retrouvée dans l'effervescence de l'univers musical techno. Influencée par des labels renommés comme Token, Polegroup, Eaux, Semantica, Hypnus Records, Northern Electronics et bien d'autres, la productrice parisienne ne cesse d'expérimenter en mêlant ses influences originelles (jazz, soul, musiques psychédéliques) et actuelles nous plongeant dans un univers sombre et hypnotique. Elle a déjà sorti de la musique sur les labels Gynoid Audio, Substantiv, Take Hit et Cosmic Wave. Une sortie sur le label de Zadig arrive très prochainement.

Drawing from the urge to stack endless layers of rattling drums and trippy leads during his sets, Esvogt contributes his analog-sourced tool track 'Pristine Cut', perfect for those early morning mixes. 

ADM returns once again with an action-packed peek timer 'Transit', sending listeners deep into space with an ebb and flow of mean laser synths and transcending vocal textures.  

 Lastly, Oliver Schädel gives us a powerful nostalgia-dripping demonstration of techno in 'Waves', filled to the brim with irresistibly groovy drum patterns but never losing sight of those dangerously entrancing pad atmospheres.

Techno workhorse Dustmite demonstrates once again why he's appreciated for his uniquely deep and diverse production styles. "Warpath", the 6th release on Supervoid Records, is a palette of contrasting elements that are sure to strike a notable chord in listeners’ minds.

The titular track opens with determination. Heavy kicks drive a syncopated rhythm as momentous explosions decompress into oily murk. The polyrhythmic synth stabs of "Weaving" evoke imagery of complex machinery calibrated in near-perfect synchronicity. The hard offbeat shuffle of "Flares" conjures a primal response with scattered dissociative flashes. A foreboding mood descends over the listener in "Caustics." Increasing tension and a pensive ambience.

'Ethereal Sex’ is the 3rd release to come on already acclaimed label Gypsy, whose past releases have been supported by a fierce cast of artists in electronic music. 

In this release, founder and producer Rudi Calcagnile returns under his new alias ‘Clang’, releasing three slabs of underground techno, oscillating between old school fast techno and hard house. The EP draws influence from a spectrum of adjacent styles between late 90s and early 00s techno, taking inspiration from artists like Surgeon, The Advent, Funk D’Void and Dave Angel as well as labels such as Tresor, Soma and Rotation Records. 

A1 ‘Meritocracy’ kicks off the EP with a distorted funky sequence which gradually reveals a bangin' hard house track, pervaded by heavy kicks, aggressive snares and extreme sharpened hi-hats. Massive! 

The sound becomes more industrial and crispy in A2 ‘Under The Sun’. The track immediately caught our attention with a mix of flattened industrial beats, gritty shakers and a funk bassline that create a tremendous tight groove which explodes in a multitude of powerful elements: dirty chord stabs, chopped vocals, snappy 808 snares, electric guitar riffs. Heater! 

On the flip, like in a secret rendezvous, a gentle-syncopated kick introduces us into a higher dimension where vibrant filtered chord stabs and a vigorous bassline come together as two bodies in a whirlwind of passion...until soaring cinematic strings and punchy 909 snares proclaim a sublime state of pleasure that only a selected few would call ‘Ethereal Sex’! 

GYPSY003 is a one time thing, no distribution, no repress.

Advan, an indie alternative rock boy from Mannheim came up with a new project and different style at the end of the year 2019: Minimal house.
Due to his families connection to the Mannheim club scene he got into electronic music pretty early!
He first started performing as the front singer and rhythm guitarist of Cinemagraph, an indie pop band from Germany. 
Now he wants to produce and dj in the electronic scene as well and is highly inspired by the Romanian Minimal Scene.
