Already a household name in Berlin, with gigs at Watergate, Sisyphos and more under her belt, Stil Vor Talent regular Deer Jade returns to production with new vigour on an exciting collaboration with Dominican producer Vander. His sound is distinctive yet diverse, dancing between Afro-Latin influences, synthwave and the darker side of disco which we can hear on releases via Pipe & Pochet, Discos Tabu and Klassified. 

‘Intergalactic Tango’ instantly teleports you to a dreamy destination with use of Mâhfoud’s exotic synth work and Moroccan sounding organ chords. Jade’s sensual vocals encourage you to keep exploring the sonic landscape of this daytime lounge record. Perfect for the warmer days and nights ahead. 

The package comes with two fantastic remixes, the first from Parisian duo Chambord, who take a bit more of a deeper approach to the track and creates an ethereal atmosphere. The gentle arp keeps the rhythm moving and pairs perfectly with the stripped back percussion.

The second from Pandhora who take the original on a more dancefloor focused approach. There is a distinct contrast between the deep / groovy bassline and the smoother, almost jazzy chord progression. Replacing the organ chords with funk guitar strums adds a subtle French flare to their edit.  The trio unleash a heavenly sound together. A unique release with deep squelchy bass combined with a striped back groove for a Latin-infused masterclass.

December has gained golden colors thanks to ‘My Soul', released on Art Vibes. A magnificent EP of three impressive tracks making us travel and dance introspectively in a very special way.
Courtesy of Ukrainian producer Jean Vayat and American singer / producer Evelynka, ‘My Soul' takes us into a sphere of dance and reflection through powerful synthesizers and progressive beats. The beats go hand in hand with Evelynka's spatial vocals, guiding us to a place where calm turns into euphoria.

Spanish producer Yamil joins Art Vibes with his own take on ‘My Soul' where the minimalist kick and percussions give the track another personality. Keeping the narrative characteristics of the original piece, this remix ends up landing on a foamy drop, with glass bubbles and uplifting chime landscapes spinning around our ears. Closing off the EP, Artaria's remix of ‘My Soul' is an explosion of intricate sound synthesis, restless percussion, reverberation and electric shocks that are impossible not to dance to. All this precedes an unexpected drop, uniting the rhythmic aesthetics of eighties techno with the energy of trance and its distinctive synthesizers.

This release is one more example of the diversity Art Vibes is aiming for when producing music. The three tracks stem from the same place but feature completely different aesthetics.

On the latest and fourth single proceeding Oliver Koletzki’s 10th album “Trip to Sanity”, the Berlin maestro masters myriad moods to impressive effect. The kick-off “Space Papi” set a light tone being a fruity 3am banger that favours bounce over brute force: Koletzki takes no prisoners in regard to dance floor damage by way of the track’s moreish bassline and a healthy dose of white noise grandeur. True to its title, the EP’s namesake “Pleasure of the Very First Time” then bubbles over with playful twists and turns, zigzagging sprightly across its indie-dance thump. Lastly, “Mind Games” takes a turn for darker territories, elevating an almost claustrophobic atmosphere at its outset with Natascha Polké’s mesmerizing vocals before blossoming into a rich apex in its second half, ready to leave you breathless.
