One of Bauer Media Audio UK’s flagship stations has just launched a brand-new sound. Designed for a ‘digital-first’ approach, the new audio branding ensures KISS stands out across all touchpoints, from radio to social media and beyond.

Bauer Media Audio UK’s Group Operations Director, Chris Ward, explains the need for a fresh approach: "KISS is the home of the biggest dance and R&B, and we needed a sound that matches that energy—something bold, fresh, and instantly recognisable across everything we do. Whether it’s on air, online, or on socials, this new sonic identity makes sure KISS cuts through.

PURE has nailed it. This isn’t just a set of jingles—it’s a sonic identity that gives KISS a sound we can own, wherever and however people hear us. And the best part? It’s built to evolve. With regular updates, we can keep it fresh and make sure the sound of KISS always sounds always reflects the music we play."

Matthieu Schotvanger, Branding Consultant at PURE, highlights the big picture: “We believe that such a 360-degree approach helps the medium of radio remain relevant for years to come, especially when using smart activation to engage and monetize audiences. There’s great opportunity for radio when we think beyond radio, and find our audience wherever they are – with the right message, at the right time. Audio branding supports that omnipresent strategy.”

The new PURE Jingles package is now live on KISS and will soon roll out across all its sub-brands, including KISSTORY. With a dynamic, cutting-edge sound, KISS is set to make waves not just on air, but wherever its audience listens, watches, and interacts.
