Heart UK ReelWorld Jingles 2014

Chérie FM are introducing the third wave of modern audio branding by PURE Jingles. Additional custom-composed themes are infusing their brand with another touch of modernity, flow and forward movement.

In 2023, the station embarked on a creative endeavour to redefine its sound. Shifting towards a modern AC format, including uptempo and contemporary songs, the station sought to connect deeply with its female audience in the 25-49 demographic.

"Once again, these jingles perfectly match our expectations", says station director Yoann Boulanger-Coureau. "The production from PURE Jingles is totally feel-good. It brings that touch of modernity that the station needs with its look and feel."

For the first time since July 2016, ReelWorld has updated their Starter Packs to include the current month's updates!  Here are the ReelWorld One April 2024 updates as heard in the latest Starter Packs, which were released this past Tuesday afternoon.

The One CHR Core updates are Toasted and Miss Bliss. The Starter Pack now consists of themes ranging from March 2023 to April 2024, including Core themes starting from October 2023.

The One AC Weather update is Retro Grade, and the One Country Weather update is Hi Density. The One AC and One Country Starter Packs now consist of themes ranging from July 2022 to April 2024 for One Country and August 2022 to April 2024 in One AC, including Core themes starting from January 2023 in One AC and October 2022 in One Country.

ROCK FM is excited to introduce a new, fresh, and modern jingle package. The new sonic signature features a catchy 3-note logo, bringing a sonic transformation to the modern age and excellently connecting the station's core sounds.

"Our previous jingle package was successful for a long time, but it had a strong focus on 'Classic Rock'. We chose the more modern sound of a 'PURE JingleBox' customised resing package to always sound fresher than our music mix, which mainly consists of rock songs from the 80s and 90s," says Mike Doetzkies, Program Director of ROCK FM.


Evolution, not revolution

"The collaboration between Thomas Giger and Melvin Sleeking from PURE Jingles, and Bernie Epple from our own producers' pool, proved to be the perfect key. The team in Hilversum, Netherlands, and Bernie just harmonized well. Quick, clear communication, immediate feedback, and rapid implementation – we really enjoyed it," Mike Doetzkies adds.

He is convinced that listeners will celebrate the fresh and modern sound just as much as his team. The jingle package will be gradually introduced into the program and slowly replace the previous elements. ROCK FM deliberately avoids a 'big kickoff' to acclimate regular listeners to the new sound. The idea: evolution, not revolution.


Distinctive image, strong brand

Thomas Giger, Branding Consultant at PURE Jingles, shares his insights: "These station IDs are designed to enhance the listening experience for both loyal and new ROCK FM listeners. The audio branding also helps create a distinctive image and a strong brand, particularly through the recognition of the sung logo melody. We're excited to expand our collaboration with the station's owner, Audiotainment Südwest in Southwest Germany, for whom we also create jingles for Hot AC brand RPR1. Let's rock!"
