The ‘Delusional’ artwork is an aerial photograph of the Seaflower Biosphere Reserve. Taken by Juan Mora, it shows the textures and colours of the sea in San Andrés, Colombia. A Colombian biologist, UW photographer, and expedition leader, Juan has dedicated his life and work to ocean advocacy. His camera serves as a powerful tool to share his passion and highlight the importance of protecting our planet.

The Seaflower Biosphere Reserve is one of the most biodiverse marine areas in the Caribbean, covering over 180,000 km² of ocean and home to vibrant coral reefs, seagrass beds, and countless marine species. Yet, despite their vital role, many fish populations are under severe pressure — overexploited due to weak regulations, destructive fishing practices, and inadequate marine protected areas.
