Diving into a sonic exploration across the Purified spectrum, Purified Records presents its first edition of Purified Selections. Shining a light on up-and-coming talent, this 11-track compilation ebbs and flows across a diverse soundscape. Opening with a powerful, cinematic cut ‘Existence’ by NASTAVI and flowing into Chris Luno’s brooding ‘Another World’, the compilation is compelling from the get-go. Moving into a lofty dimension, Enigmatic ‘Fractal Dreams’ and Heard Right & Floa ‘Tokyo’ perfectly encapsulate the imprint’s essence. Moving in a slightly deeper direction, Initial Eyes ‘Like Pictures On A Screen’ and Namatjira’s ‘Katsu’ flaunt reverberating basslines juxtaposed with scintillating synths. Soaring into a mystical realm with Boy North ‘A.D.I.A.’, Callum Can’t Sleep ‘Wave Of Waters’, Enigmatic ‘Keralian Town’, and Boy North ‘Break Me’, listeners are transported into pure sonic bliss with soothing instrumental arrangements. Dropping the tempo, Callum Can’t Sleep’s ‘Andara’ draws Purified Selections to a close, allowing listeners to unwind and bask in the compilation’s aura.

Coming in for a full on Hive Audio label debut after already contributing a track to our „Summer Slices Compilation 2018“ is Mar Dean, another long standing activist from the Swiss underground now aiming at international dancefloors with his „Come With Me EP“ release.

Opening with the title track „Come With Me“ Mar Dean approaches high energy Tech House in a truly uplifting fashion, draws inspiration from classic HardBag build-ups and finally triggers ecstatic crowd reaction with a rolling monster of a bassline accompanied by masterly crafted melodic elements in motion. A true banger with a slightly progressive twist.

Dealing with „Volcano Pigs“ we see Mar Dean coming from a slightly different angle, catering a stompy, well sculpted and defo more Techno-leaning foundation drumwise before opening things up with intricate melodic interplay and slightly dubbed out House stabs, hard filtered vocal samples and ghostly FX for spine-tingling moments on the dancefloor.

Teaming up with vocalist Nicole, Mar Dean is in for serious „Euphoria“ caused by hyper-harmonic, somewhat melancholia inducing chord progressions in combination with emotionally touching storytelling – all falling together to form the most beautiful electronic love song you've heard in ages.

Finally German producer Ron Flatter is in for a remix treatment, transforming and reshaping „Euphoria“ into a captivating, ever cascading Tech House anthem infused with huge harmonic basslines, angelic pads and a big portion of ravey, intense vibes for an ultimate peaktime takeoff. Following his ‘Porteau’ release on Purified Records, Canadian producer Rylan Taggart returns to the imprint with his two-track ’Trust You’ EP. The title creation is a downtempo cut, which places a softly spoken vocal and airy synths across a deep bassline. With gentle piano chords and dispersed percussion, this touching piece is the definition of his signature sound. Flowing into ’The Room’, Rylan treats listeners to a mysterious B-side, which builds slowly across its duration. Employing a reverberating bassline and spacey synths, Rylan creates an unearthly atmosphere that once again portrays his production prowess.

We are approaching the end of a fantastic age by introducing the AGE OF DISCOVERY or also known as the early Renaissance time, which started with the Fall of Constantinople in 1453. Bloody battles raged all over Europe, the people starved but they were also hungry for new discoveries and so the age of exploration led the people to step out of the ordinary. The period is characterized as a time when Europeans began exploring the world by sea in search of new trading routes, wealth, and knowledge.
Passenger 10 invites you on a musical journey to honor these long past but very important times.

A beautiful EP from newcomer BOUND TO DIVIDE this week on our label. The artists managed to produce two tracks that cover all aspects of successful and high quality melodic house music. Growling basslines, sparkling arpeggios and well thought through lead melodies float on top of some nicely crafted beat patterns. The tracks slowly build up and lead the listener on a journey of sound through ups and downs and from peak to peak.

For the second installment of ‘Fragments’, Purified Records delivers a stunning three-track collection to the imprint. Colombian producer Deviu composes a scintillating hybrid creation ‘Go On’, perfectly fusing lighter instrumentals with darker dance elements to create a captivating cut that takes you on a wild trip. Moa debuts with a melancholic offering ‘Sanctuary’, which opens with hauntingly beautiful vocals and progressive elements, blending in majestic strings across a powerful bassline.  

Closing out the compilation with an elegant collaboration, Heard Right x OAI team up for ‘Hope’, which is led by gentle piano chords and uplifting synths. Taking listeners to a lofty dimension, this soothing creation will provide an escape into sonic bliss.
