Canadian DJ and producer Simon Doty collaborates with powerhouse duo My Friend on ‘Follow Me’ (feat. Tailor). ‘Follow Me’ is the next single to be released from Simon’s highly anticipated album ‘Universal Language’, out April 28th on Anjunadeep.

Written at an Anjunadeep label songwriting camp last year, ‘Follow Me’ features a pulsing bassline, bright synths and warm vocals from British singer Tailor. ‘Follow Me’ comes after the release of previous singles ‘Have You Ever?’ and ‘Soulflow’ which have gained radio play from BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM, KCRW and DJs like Gorgon City, Diplo, Pete Tong and Nora En Pure, among others.

Crafted for the dancefloor, Simon’s debut album ‘Universal Language’ showcases a range of musical styles that they can expect to hear Simon play during one of his DJ sets.

The album features a range of collaborations including American spoken word artist Ursula Rucker, British duo My Friend, singer / songwriter Tailor, UK-based producer and vocalist Artche, British vocalist Ruth Royall and legendary American recording artist Roland Clark as well as a remix of JODA’s hit track ‘Closer’ (feat. Robyn Sherwell).

In support of his upcoming album, Simon has recently announced phase one of his ‘Universal Language’ tour. Featuring over 30 dates, the tour kicks off in February in North and South America, before moving over to Europe and Asia. More dates will be announced later this year.

Back with their second official collaboration since 2020, Kasablanca and Lane 8 team up on latest hit track, 'Remission', on Anjunabeats.

Launching into the dance music scene in 2020 with their first releases, Kasablanca quickly made a name for themselves later that July with the release of their hit collaboration with Lane 8, 'Run'. With that original track now streamed over 40M times worldwide since its release, hitting #1 on SiriusXM BPM, and heard countless times live at major festival stages around the world, Kasablanca and Lane 8 look to follow up on their success together with their latest collaborative release, 'Remission'.

After a massive 2022 and 2023 that saw Kasablanca touring around the world and playing some of the most well known venues like Coachella, Printworks, Red Rocks, and The Gorge, their tour in late 2023 was cut short after revealing that frontman "Mickey" was diagnosed with cancer. Following a short hiatus from touring and music in the start of 2024, 'Remission' marks the official return of Kasablanca after the debut of the track during their LIVE set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Chile and Peru.

Denver-based DJ and producer Daniel Goldstein, aka Lane 8, has become the leading light in today's melodic house scene with multiple shows at iconic venues such as Red Rocks and Brooklyn Mirage under his belt. Lane 8 fans might have noticed the new record being road-tested in his recent shows, most notably when it was debuted at CRSSD Festival in San Diego in early March.

Fans can look forward to hearing the latest hit release live at both Kasablanca and Lane 8 shows in the future.

Revisiting one of the label’s first releases from 2019, Canadian producer Return Of The Jaded’s ‘Soma’ receives two new versions. Reworking the original in his VIP edit, ROTJ infuses drum and bass elements to craft a brooding soundscape that further demonstrates his versatility as a producer. Czech artist Dominik Gehringer delivers a striking rendition, showcasing his progressive and powerful sonic identity, while keeping the original’s essence alive.
The Soma Remixes artwork displays a majestic image of an eagle ray, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Eagle rays are large, graceful rays known for their distinctive, flat, diamond-shaped bodies and long, slender tails. They are often seen gliding near the ocean floor or in open water, where they feed on mollusks, crustaceans, and small fish, using their powerful jaws to crush hard shells. Eagle rays face threats primarily from habitat loss and degradation, particularly of coral reefs and seagrass beds where they feed and breed, which pose significant risks to their populations. After his recent remix of Deviu’s ‘Snow’ Ft. Mira Nait, French producer Aalson returns to Purified Records with his three-track ‘Daylight’ EP. The title track encapsulates the magic of daylight in sonic form, blending gentle instrumentation and glowing synths across flowing basslines. Moving into ‘Echoes Of Dawn’, nature samples are paired with breakbeat patterns to achieve a poignant and touching atmosphere. Closing with ‘Dreamland’, Aalson builds a cinematic arrangement that fuses classical and contemporary elements to dramatic effect. 

The ‘Daylight’ EP artwork showcases a magnificent shot of a humpback whale gliding through the ocean. Humpback whales are known for their long migrations, traveling up to 16,000 miles annually between feeding and breeding grounds.
