I'm super happy to introduce you to the extension of my musical world with the 'Puritan presents Body Pressure' project. Drawing inspiration from 80's & 90's EBM from Boy Records to the current new wave of Italo-Body Music - Body Pressure is my less harsh, intimate approach to music that combines influences of EBM, Italo, Electro, New Wave, Techno & other gems of untold sonic future with never leaving a signature Puritan kick to it.

As many of you have asked, here is vol. 2 of my Body Pressure mix. I recorded the first one for the launch of my Body Pressure moniker and have had an amazing time playing with this project since then. 

I recorded this one without any thinking and preparation, just added some new favorite cuts and stuck my usb in cdj’s and went through all the playlists I have prepared for my previous Body Pressure gigs, trying to recreate those energy and memories. 

Hope you will like it and remember some of the moments we had.

Davit Japaridze is a prominent figure in the emerging electronic music scene of Georgia and belongs to the number of artists who are actively involved in the formation of the modern Georgian club culture.

Puritan was introduced to electronic music at an early age, but the artist believes that his musical journey took a significant turn when he discovered House of God and got to know artists such as Regis, Surgeon, Blawan, Oliver Ho, shortly after followed by Silent Servant, Phase Fatale, Ancient Methods, and other artists who have successfully managed to blend techno with other lesser-known genres.

Being active in many various ways since then, Puritan’s affinity towards industrial electronics came in tandem with founding his imprint - Murder tbs. His vision and ideas led him to work with some of the most respected names in the industry and gave foundation to many groundbreaking compilations with acquiring a huge­ly influ­en­tial pres­ence in the world of mod­ern elec­tron­ic music.

Over the years, Puritan has expanded his vision into multiple directions. The most recent one includes the ’Body Pressure’ project, where he plays more soft, intimate sets drawing inspiration from 80's & 90's EBM from Boy Records to the current new wave of Italo-Body Music. The moniker is home to more explorative genres and influences with the aim to blend past, present and future with artists' modern touch.
