Hi, welcome to my little music blog!
It all started back in middle school. During breaks between classes we would send each other music on our phones with infrared and bluetooth. First it was all pop and rock music, but soon I found out about dubstep and drum and bass. It changed everything for me. I had many mp3 players and ipods full of music. I started going to raves and music festivals. I enjoyed some house, hiphop, techno and even psytrance. It's been a journey and after many years I am still so excited to hear new beats and melodies. I've been constantly reposting my favourite tunes for everyone to enjoy with me! Music just makes me so happy and I am glad if I can make you happy too! Besides partying I listen to music while at work, at home, on the streets or in gym. Basically all the time.
Most of all, I love drum and bass. Mainstream, liquid, rollers, jump up, neuro, jungle... you name it. I have dug deep into the world of drum and bass. This page probably has over 10,000 drum and bass tracks reposted by me that I really enjoyed. A few years ago, my friend invited me to a festival in Belgium, and I fell in love with heavy dubstep. After that, for 2 years straight, I was obsessed with it and even made another page for reposting. I found out about genres like riddim, wave, and trap. At one point I didn't want to know anything about it and deleted the page! Right now this is the only page I use. Maybe one day I will return to drum and bass, but lately I've been feeling crazy and reposting other stuff too. I love good music; I don't care what you call it, and I love to find inspiration in different genres.
For some time I was really into deep house. I love to shuffle (dance). I don't mind some bass house. Slap house? I love that. Club house, G-house, melodic house, electro house, progressive house, and yes, even tech house... whatever. I love house music!
I love big festival music like trap and hardstyle, but I also know what underground techno means. I love hardcore, and sometimes I love chillout.

ABOUT
With their roots in India and Sweden respectively, Daljit Kundi and Ludvig Cimbrelius met in the sphere of UK music culture. With Daljit growing up in Birmingham, and Ludvig having been heavily influenced by the influx of innovative electronic music from the British isles, it was in the realms of ambient jungle that the musical duo first set sail together. Their debut release ‘Timeless Travellers’ is an intergalactic voyage undertaken in the spirit of innocence and exploration that remains a hallmark of the genre, including remixes from their long time friend Simon Huxtable (Aural Imbalance) as well as the melodic genius Ulrich Schnauss. Ludvig traveled to Birmingham for the release event, performing a powerful set back-to-back with Daljit.

After some extraordinary remix work for their good friend Kirsty Hawkshaw’s Wellhead Records and several celebrated EP’s, the duo moved away from the fast paced breaks, bringing the scope of cinematic ambient into full focus. This change was also reflected in their shifting monikers, with Ludvig returning to his roots with ‘Purl’ and Daljit bringing his cinematic inner visions to life as ‘Sinius’. Their debut album ‘Oceans of Sounds’, though passed on by several record labels, was eventually released some 3 years after its completion and has subsequently become an underground classic.

Recurring struggles with record labels and with getting their music heard coincided with big life changes, ultimately leading to their next album waiting on the shelf in a near-finished state for close to 7 years. Passing along a demo to PITP eventually led to their embracing of the project, and with their loving support ‘Embryology’ is now ready to be born. In contrast to its predecessor ’Oceans of Sound’ - and as its title suggests - ‘Embryology’ is an exploration of the inner creative realms and the emotional aspects of the different stages of the creative process. As a whole, the album attempts to represent a psychic darkness that is as deeply restful as it is ripe with creative potential.

Ludvig and Daljit extend their deep gratitude to their friends at PITP for their loving support, and especially to Zach, Cynthia and James for their respective contributions in making ‘Embryology’ ready for the world.

Purl & Sinius is an ambient collaboration project between UK artist Daljit Singh Kundi and Ludvig Cimbrelius, based in Sweden. 

Daljit Kundi is a film composer, sound designer, and producer of ambient music. Under the pseudonym of SINIUS, Daljit Kundi has composed music for a number of documentaries and feature films that explore the unexplained and occult.


Ludvig has been creating ambient music under the name Purl since a young age. Exploring endless forms of musical expression over the years, he has to date released over 100 albums and EPs from a vast array of artist projects. Ludvig remains active and is currently employing four aliases for his continuous musical output: Purl, Illuvia, Eternell and his given name.

Guitarist and composer John Reidar Holmes creates moody and dream-like ambient music. His particular sound is shaped using modular synthesizers and treated electric and acoustic guitars.
