Diane Wilson sustained a 36-day hunger strike in April 2021 to stop the dredging in Matagorda Ship Channel on the Texas Gulf coast and to STOP EXPORTING GAS & OIL. In order to alleviate air pollution in local communities, protect the environment and avoid the worst, irreversible outcomes of the climate emergency— WE MUST STOP using fossil fuels for transportation and generating electricity by 2030. Let's begin a swift and just transition to renewable energy. Time for talk is done. WE NEED ACTION NOW.
