For the past years, a few friends from the Dutch city of Haarlem have explored musical boundaries and tested sonic limits to bring you this selection of new psychedelic songs of soul. We aimed to have a specific quality and atmosphere to the music for this release. A quality that this style of music inspired us to aspire. Through the years, inspirations shift, Sounds change, rhythms evolve, understanding broadens, definition expands, hearing improves... Thusly, we have strived to make something beautiful that hopefully propels this further. And share with you some of our explorations in music. Through some unconventional recording techniques, obscure sound sources and countless nights of deep sound exploration, there is a lot of care and efforts to be discovered within these tracks. Natural Displacement is the Debut - Physical Album release from Selective Mood and Nocturnes Creatures. In the end of summer 2015 they started to work on a tracklist which can really be united in one concept: 

Because all of them have dedicated their lives to spend everyday in the studio, in front of displays, making weird noises, they tried to show up how controverse that is, with the reason their music actually is about: To connect again, with one self and especially the roots that society has lost over the long process of industrialisation, the Nature. 

With that in the back of their heads they came up with a nine track Album which should give you an imagination of how far the displacement from nature has affected the way we live and the way we create. Upon all of that, the album doesnt miss any of the charm, both of the two projects have to offer. Heavy sounding basses, squelshing and rythmic leads and dark atmospheres.So be prepared for one of the most exciting releases of 2017.

Greetings whirlers! We are delighted to announce the upcoming release of Samaa Records by our very own "Hypnoia".
 
This digital EP contains three trippy groovy tracks filled with ethnic elements and atmospheres; creating a sound saga ideal for a hyper-active crowd on raging dance floors; while at the same time manifesting Hypnoia's frequencies which drives from their lineage. Two solo tracks, and a collaboration with the latest addition to the artist roster of Samaa Records, "Creepy Deep". This release was mastered by Micky Noise at Plus Six Mastering studios and is complemented by an exquisite artwork from Ashtak Singh @ Trilochana Creation.
