Alter Vu, the dynamic duo consisting of Balboa and Armienz, are the rising stars of the Mexican psytrance scene, making their mark on the world stage as part of the Blacklite Records family. With a shared passion for crafting unique sounds, these two talented producers embarked on individual journeys to forge their own distinct styles. Yet, fate had other plans, and they eventually united their creative forces to birth the enigmatic project known as Alter Vu. Their sonic signature is an exploration into the depths of the psychedelic, a sonic voyage that thrives in the nocturnal realm, aimed squarely at inducing dancefloor delirium. Some might label it twilight music, their music bears witness to the fusion of old-school influences with a modern, robotic edge and a massive number of hallucinatory effects. Their music surges through the crowd, propelling bodies into a state of ecstatic frenzy that leaves no one untouched. In the world of psytrance, Alter Vu is the dawn of a new era, a rising talent duo from Mexico that invite all to join them on an hypnotic journey from place to place.

Alter vu is a term that describes the feeling of remembering something differently, or experiencing visions or dreams of events that never happened, allegedly as the result of changes to a worldline.

Founded in 2008 by Dj Kikx, Purple Hexagon Records is a full-spectrum psychedelic music label that supports and is supported by the passion and enthusiasm of many psytrance aficionados around the world. Unpretentious and underground, this international grassroots label promotes psychedelic music, Djs and artists, showcasing the diverse talents of many of the party worlds unsung heroes - real and dedicated individuals making massive contributions to their respective local scenes in their own unique and special ways.

Just as mushroom mycelium links the whole world through invisible threads that grow day by day, Purple Hexagon believes that music can act as a bond that develops strong connections and positive friendships between communities and cultures. This can happen anywhere and it is not related to big bucks, binding agreements or to any alternative yet exclusive culture. Just as it happens with mushrooms, the strength comes from below; it is invisible and low-profile, yet strong and supportive.

Purple Hexagon is simply based on music and the infinite possibilities of real people who make it happen, actively sharing their talents and energies to add to the mesmerising diversity and reach of the global psystrance scene. Ozomatli is a self-taught musical bush shaman, summoning ancient energy through dark and psychedelic frequencies to create intentional experiences. Born in the heart of Australia's bush scene, his sets fuse ritual and ancestral sounds.

Co-founder of Amaruna Crew, Ozomatli has been deep in the underground, digging through layers of sound and spirit to unearth something raw and timeless.
