PURPLE RAVER - "Total Integration" - preview

After one year well-known Serbian producer E-CLIP is back on IONO Music series.

The sun and the moon have always been perceived as opposites; the sun is the active, rational, masculine and materialistic part of the world which happens during day time, while the moon is the dark, crazy, feminine and mysterious part of the world which occurs during the night time. There is one magical moment when these opposites unite into one incredible phenomenon, which merges the characteristics of these binary entities – Solar Eclipse.
Marko Radovanovic, from Belgrade, Serbia, took the essence of the Solar Eclipse and transformed it into a musical phenomenon that mixes the sun and night aka his alter ego – E-Clip. Along the way, he polished his precision and beat skills while he was playing as a drummer in Hardcore and New Age bands. And as a new star in the celestial sphere of Progressive Trance he absorbed a lot of inspiration from artists such as Jean Michel Jarre, Pink Floyd, Klaus Shultze and Astral Projection. The big change for Radovanovic was similar to the process of Solar Eclipse; where the moon decides he wants to follow the sun’s fire and hot atmosphere. Radovanovic fell in love with the heat and energy of the other side of the decks of the Psychedelic Trance parties, and made his move. Thus, soon after he entered the psychedelic world in 2002, he started to produce music as well.

His first experiment was under a different more Full-Onish alter ego, named Beyondecliptica, and with it he released his debut album in 2008, ‘Groove technologies’, in the Greek label Medusa. Then Radovanovic realized it was time to undermine nature’s course and bring E-Clip to the world in 2009. Since that moment of creating his unique manifestation, he released music in various labels including: Blue Tunes, Spin Twist, Oxygen, Prog On Syndicate, Yellow Sunshine Explosion. Of course Iono Music spotted his magical influences and joined him to the family. His recent EP – ‘Press Hold’ at Iono that came out in November 2011 is just a taste of the many trips he will make on the orbit of the sun while inviting the moon to join occasionally.

Blacklite Records series continues with PURPLE RAVER's new DJ set.

Purple Raver is the Psy Trance project of Lucio Munari, italian musician & sound engineer based in Turin, Italy.
He had a classical music education that leads him to take a degree in Transverse Flute.
The love for electronic music started with rave parties in the late nineties.
In 2001 he took his firsts drum machines, samplers and sequencers to compose his own electronic stuff, starting to discovery the world of digital music production.
The first Ep "Livin' on a border line"(2003) has obtained good reviews on web and magazines, and opened the way to the first live performances.
After discovering the psy trance culture, in 2005 he joined the Looney Moon rec. and started to djing & perform all around Italy.
In 2007 he started working at Blacklite Studio,a professional team of artists & sound engineers based in Turin, giving life to his own live project with a new environment.
In 2010 he founded Blacklite records, in straight cooperation with his friend and artist Nukleall. In these years the label has obtained respect worldwide from the psytrance scene, reaching many hot festivals & parties' dancefloors around. Blacklite team as well has strongly contributed to the growth of psychedelic parties here in Italy for over a decade.
Purple Raver has played regularly all over Italy but had also gigs in Germany, Austria, Greece, Croatia, France, UK, Spain, Portugal, Poland and India.
His versatile style has many flavoured blends and travels between Progressive & Morning Full On, perfect for the dawn time.

Aurawave is the new project of Lucio Munari, an italian musician and audio engineer active since more than a decade on the psytrance scene. This new concept is born after years of working experiences in studio, and after having collected gigs all around Europe with his previous projects. 
Aurawave proudly signs this debut “Mad as Hell” Ep with the underground mexican label Uxmal Records, that has always been focused on innovation and future directions of the psytrance scene. With these two real dancefloor bombs “Mad as hell” flows through evocating atmospheres and stomping rythmic sections, creative glitches & captivating breaks, catching the listener in a dynamic & unique psychedelic dimension.

He's actually working on a new Live Act and organizing events in Turin.
