"I was watching alot of Westerns at the time (summer 2017 in Cork) so went a bit wild with the movie sampling as well as extra breaks and synth work to extend Etch's lush sound palette..

"This track was inspired by music I was hearing from artists like Thing and Crypticz. There’s a wide range sampling and sound design in here that made for some interesting results. I Don’t normally write stuff in this vibe and I was really happy with how it came out. It’s a new flavour for me but still maintains my core elements. I’m really happy it found a home with Deviant Audio alongside these other very talented homies on the release. It feels right as rain and I hope to write more music like this in the future. The Italian producer/DJ currently lives in London. His productions sit under the delicious, hard to define, genre-blurring ‘160’ umbrella. He's had a number of releases, including most recently his Look at U EP on 'Nice Up! Records'  which has been supported by the likes of SHERELLE and LCY on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, and by Simbad on Gilles Peterson's Worldwide FM.
