After being introduced to a variety of music at an early age, allowed Mac to fuse genres. As struggling family issues emerged during adolescence, his Dad demonstrated the significance music can play in an individual's life touring with the Ohio Players in the 80’s. Following his father's footsteps, DMac recorded his first mixtape in 2011 L.I.F.E and released it on the infamous online platform Datpiff. Gaining immediate stateside recognition. After graduating HS in 2012 he immediately started touring Ohio with David Biga, and Village Fam. DMac Co Created and Co Founded Novelist Music Group. After suffering several peer losses from 2012-2014 and another close friend in 2015, Austin Singletary. He found himself experiencing extreme depression and writer's block that he deals with to this day. Coping through various traumas in his twenties, the music has always been focused on organic sound. He was set to release his catalogue of music in 2023 but suffered the most severe loss of his 29 year old Life when his gf and love of his life passed-over very unexpectedly March 9th, 2023. Mac's re-focusing is what it means to be both a Human and Artist. He produces/engineers all releases. Instrumental projects “What Are Doing Here” (2018), “I Got the Keys” feat. Lex Luger (2019), “LOVE” feat. Lex Luger — FEEL Album (2020) and “Ghosts in Room” (2023) feat. Paul Machowsky showcase his diverse abilities as an Artist and Producer.
