CommonSense is a label from Mexico that has welcomed artists such as Peter Van Hoesen, Ricardo Garduno, Juan Sanchez, DJ Nobu and Eduardo De La Calle.

The latest ten-track VA titled CommonSense Vol. 5 features a fantastic collection of artists including Truncate, Denise Rabe, Fixeer and PWCCA.

Truncate‘s raw and punchy production caught our ear. The Los Angeles-based conductor is known for releasing on 50 Weapons, Luke Slater’s Mote-Evolver, Len Faki’s Figure, as well as his Truncate label project.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Untitled Tool” that takes on a slightly different approach to usual grooves. Using twisting modular tones as the main riffs, his always on point and particular percussion is hit varying effects that add to the fun of this jackin’ and freaky cut.

VZSZ (Pablo Vázquez, 1997) comienza a interesarse por la música electrónica en la adolescencia, descubriendo el Techno al volver a residir en su ciudad natal (Madrid).

Tras varios años explorando sus paisajes sonoros a través de la mezcla, su sonido se ha asentado en el techno contemporáneo en su forma más cruda.

En sus sesiones, siempre intenta un diálogo y estímulo constante de la pista mediante mezclas rápidas y el uso de 3 canales, técnica en la que se siente más cómodo para desplegar toda su creatividad.

Desde 2019, VZSZ ha hecho múltiples apariciones en eventos como: Phase Collective, Holle Club, 008 Collective, Alter Ego,...

Durante 2023 han visto la luz sus primeras producciones, en las que intenta plasmar su visión más personal del techno, tomando las bases del género en busca de un sonido contemporáneo y muscular, que mira hacia la pista de baile y el futuro. 

Sus temas han conseguido el apoyo de artistas como Tensal, Adriana Lopez, Loktibrada, Justin Perry,
Lakej, Black Lotus...

Más allá de la música, en 2021 VZSZ colaboró con el sello Global Offensive Corporation, realizando un spot en clave de ficción para su primer lanzamiento. 
Actualmente trabaja en algunos proyectos en los que espera poder volver a unir dos de sus mayores inquietudes; la música techno y la cinematografía.

VZSZ (Pablo Vázquez, 1997) began to be interested in electronic music in the
adolescence, discovering techno when returning to live in his hometown (Madrid).

After several years exploring his soundscapes through mixing, his sound has become based on contemporary techno in its rawest form.

In his sessions, he always tries a constant dialogue and stimulation of the track throug hfast mixes and the use of 3 channels, a technique in which he feels most comfortable to display all his creativity.

Since 2019, VZSZ has made multiple appearances at events such as: Phase Collective, Holle Club, 008 Collective, AlterEgo,...
During 2023, his first productions have seen the light, in which he tries to capture
his most personal vision of techno, taking the bases of the genre in search of a sound contemporary and muscular, looking towards the dance floor and the future. 

The themes of him have gained the support of artists such as Tensal, Adriana Lopez, Loktibrada, Justin Perry, Lakej, Black Lotus...

Beyond music, in 2021 VZSZ collaborated with the Global Offensive Corporation label, making a fictional spot for its first release. He currently works at
some projects in which he hopes to be able to unite two of his greatest concerns again; the techno music and cinematography.

After 20 years of incessant and persistent work-in clubs all over the world, Victor M- -has become one of Spain’s top DJs and producers -whose influences have been hip-hop, funk and the house, among other styles. Pushmann, delivers techno for the mind body and soul.

PUSHMANN produces a Detroitesque sound with clear and strong influence of European sound, Berlin and Birmingham. His imaginary sound is based on the fast-paced, industrial and mechanical high-octane techno. In his classic genre he delivers raw goodness to intrigue the listener and take him or her to a higher level. Power, darkness and fierceness serving the dance floor. His special attention and taste for metallic percussion and steel cavernous drums well located in front of everything, almost martia, or warlike. Also draw attention to their surgical and haunting melodies, looped and accelerated to paroxysm. Sophisticated bestiality that stuns and spreads like wildfire.
As a DJ, this self-confessed lover of vinyl-and three deck performances- enjoys a refined technique after many years of selecting only the best techno, house and ghetto-techno- sessions defined as strong, energetic and vibrant.
