Jake has quite literally, been around House & Tech House culture since the womb - dating back to 97’ where he was raving in his mum’s stomach at the infamous 'Wiggle' events!

After getting into DJ’ing within the last few years he has already released tracks on a host of respected labels (see discography). Working with the likes of top artists including; Orlando Voorn, Terry Francis, Mr.C, Ben Spalding & Dan Ros to name a few. 

This rising talent has been making a heavy impact across the board: receiving a Beatport #1, having 4 tracks supported on BBC Radio 1 national radio & selling out 2 Vinyl releases independently, all whilst receiving chart placements/homepage features from leading Electronic Music stores.  

Jake made a regular appearance at Fabric in the past year alongside; Joseph Capriati, Lilly Palmer, Kölsch, Silverlining, Archie Hamilton, Craig Richards, Alan Fitzpatrick & many more. He also holds a DJ residency for both Superfreq + FUMP and has played with the legendary Wiggle crew for their unforgettable anniversary at The Cause. 

Today, Jake steps up to the @PUZZLEDParties throne with an exclusive guest mix showcasing his deep, hypnotic and infectious underground house sound.

I had the honor of playing another fun summer party in Brooklyn this year on my good friends Andre and Brittany's rooftop terrace, where we celebrated the 4th of July under the fireworks. 

Here's a recording of a set I that I played from 2am till 530am or so, when the party was at its silliest. 

Weird at times, funky at others, often trippy, sporadically silly, occasionally deep, and sometimes just straight f%&@'d up beyond all recognition.

Coming from Bangor, North Wales, a quiet part of the world with a rich history in the house music scene is Gavin Hogan, a DJ and label owner who follows in the footsteps of Jamie Jones and Sasha who hail from the area plus well known labels such as Curtea Veche, OGE, Fa>|e, into the wizards sleeve that are all representing the North coast.  

With almost 25 years of DJ'ing under his belt Gavin has a vast library of music in his collection making him a versatile DJ that can play a variety of styles and genres from deep-minimal to techno, he likes to play 
extended sets to create a journey and showcase his skills. 

Gavin also runs the Strictly Underground parties that he hosts locally alongside good friend Ramji which have seen the pair host the likes of Mark Fanciulli, Lauren Lo Sung, Tristan Da Cunha, Adam Shelton and more over the last 13 years. This has allowed him to secure residencies at the 
likes of Creamfields, Gottwood and Parklife festivals aswell as play parties across the uk and europe.  

Aswell as being a DJ and promoter, he also runs the labels Floorpiece, Doppel-Audio, One Of 4 and Silhouetted wich he has released multiple number 1s in the deejay.de charts and has seen him work with some of the most respected artists in the game such as Michael James, Nick Beringer, Mancini, Artmann, Lavy, Dubfluss, Jamahr, Rowlanz and more.

A new Floog live act in a new musical shape (X), returning to his musical roots inspired by the sounds he loved in the early ‘90s, featuring two hours of unreleased music. 

Material was made in about 7 months and was made more in a spontaneous way, much less programing and more hand playing. Floog new vision will include the launch of a new label called Jus de Rose inspired by his all time heroes :)

2025 will find Floog X playing his new live act with a bunch of hardware gear and modular synth including using a real time vocoder.
