Described as "arithmetic rock arrangements with perfect pop vocals" by Phoenix NewTimes, Riot For Romance is an award-winning high-energy pop rock band from Phoenix, AZ.  RIOT entertains their fans through their use of dynamic melodies over catchy rock-riffs that dare you ignore the fun, yet powerfully impressive live show.

RIOT’s story technically began in late 2004 as a side project called Ember, but quickly turned into something that caught major interest from labels and venues under the name This Daily Summer.  The band was originally formed by front man Jeff Gilbert and bassist Jonathan Kingsley, later adding drummer Danny Saba and Rocky Searan on keyboards.  Now RIOT prides themselves on their reputation of "bringing 110% percent to its fans every night", the infectiously catchy songs, selling out venues, and sharing the stage with A-level major label artists.

Along with airplay of early hits like 'Falling For You' and 'Sooner Or Later', the band received praise for its debut EP "The Break" which included tracks 'My Favorite' and 'The Break (Hey Girl)'.  And later, RIOT released its 2nd EP "Siren Sounds", which included 'Chance For Something Better' and '10 Seconds'.


Raised in Nashville Tennessee, Rocky Searan has emerged as one of the regions most sought after Keyboardists for both studio recording sessions and live Over the last 20 years Rocky has worked with several artists (Bluetree, Matt Maher, Signal Goodbye, Newsboys, Sonic Flood, Puff Daddy, Felix Da House Kat, Deadmau5, Hollywood Yates, David Ellis, Robert Payne, Riot For Romance, Michael McDonald) and shared the stage with top artists such as (Chris Tomlin, Wynona Judd, Shinedown, Kirk Franklin, The Bacon Brothers, Mickie James, Mark Connors) Rocky's strength as an improvisational player allows him to blend many different genre's of music, which has attracted several bands and artists to work with him in a live and studio atmosphere.
 In addition to being a versatile keyboardist and Producer, his creativity in programming loops and grooves ranges from complex Electronica to a Radiohead meets Nine Inch Nails, leaving the listener with dark overtones and a sense of unpredictable sonority. Overall, Rocky provides artists and producers with an outlet to think outside the typical box of creativity and explore options to bring a new level of energy to the stage, ultimately capturing that "perfect sound”.
