Roger Ryms originally known as Roger Kwaku Boateng,was born on the 10th of October (Libra)in Accra Ghana at the La polyclinic hospital.A Ghanaian musician/producer/songwriter versatile and a creative art,bringing socially conscious lyricism to his powerfully emotive tracks. From motivational songs,love songs to angry ones, his style encompasses a wide range of relatable emotions as he uses the timeless sounds of hip hop to the infectious rhythms of afro beat,reggae,dancehall etc.

Roger’s love for music began when he was just a child: he learned to beatbox at age 8 and by age 16 was writing and recording with his first song ,He looked at buster rhymes as his role model and as a teenager he preferred spending the majority of his weekends  at the national theatre where you can learn music and perform your songs on national tv.

Roger Ryms attended Datus Senior high school in Tema from 2000 to 2003,he offered his diploma in A+ Hardware and N+ Networking training at the NIIT  in IT education and IT-assisted training domains.He later diverted to Multimedia and completed in 2005.After few years he attended Ghallywood a film making school and offered Camera training.

He studied music on his own,created a bedroom studio where he started to make his own beats and by doing so as a young entrepreneur,he  started to record other friends who was also on the same page as him from 2006.As a teenager he started organizing his own shows from the beach to other venues as a showcase of his music talent.
