Adolescence is marked by many memorable moments: your first day of junior high, your first locker, your first kiss. We'll always remember our oldest brother TJ playing in the high school pit orchestra. Why, you ask? It’s where we first heard the words, "Call it bad, call it funny, but it's better than even money, that the guy's only doing it for some doll!" As kids, we didn’t realize how true to life a musical like Guys and Dolls could be. Now--many years and pit orchestra experiences later--we know just what Ol' Blue Eyes meant when he sang it on the big screen: We do it for the girls!

Our new single, ‘Girls’ is a celebration. And in our mind, there's no better way to celebrate the fairer sex than by bringing on feminist pop icon JD Samson (MEN/Le Tigre) while throwing our signature Next Jack Swing sound into the mix--think New Jack but with heavier beats and funkier bass lines. We've got Fat Tony's lovelorn rap about the one that got away while Robert croons 'What's that, you can't believe it? Well it's definitely a mystery, 'cause every time we do it for the GIRLS' Enjoy!

Introducing Tesla Boy's 'The Universe Made Of Darkness', the highly anticipated second album out today. 

Having released tantalizing previews such as '1991', an infectiously optimistic groove, Tesla Boy takes their previous albums' 80’s inspired synth sounds to even further heights with the new LP. Second single 'M.C.H.T.E.' is a bouncy and percussion heavy track with rhythmic, funky bass lines and synths that flicker across the surface. 'Broken Doll' sees the band team up with London crooner Tyson to create a dark, full-bodied and sensual track. As the chorus of the track would suggest, 'Broken Doll' is an invitation to the dance floor, with Tyson's vocals positively electrifying as he asks, "Do you want to dance?"
