Broken Bridges is a haunted listening trip, a crossover between hypnotic Italian deep techno and tribal frenchcore, bringing you in a dark hole of synthetic atmosphere, acid motifs and twisted drums.
Additional to the single tracks available digitally, the 6 track mixtape will accompany your car journey to the next warehouse or forest party.

'Aggelos first approached Lurid Music with the idea for this project a few months ago. We agreed on one condition, that all proceeds be donated to refugee causes, like we did with his Black Sea EP which supported the Syrian refugee crisis. When Russia invaded Ukraine, we decided our focus had to be helping the Ukrainian refugees who were forced to leave their homes in search of safe havens abroad.

We discussed this with most contributors to the project and the consensus was that donations should strictly go to humanitarian groups and not any armament funds. There were also some thoughts about helping conflict-affected peoples in other parts of the world but we decided it was too much to tackle for a relatively small project like this one.

Therefore, donations stemming from the sales of this release will be distributed to the following humanitarian groups currently active in Ukraine or neighboring countries welcoming refugees:

This illustration is an homage to Maria Prymachenko’s “May That Nuclear War be Cursed!”, which also inspired the title of this release. Neural Pathways (A Strange Wedding Sardaukar Remix)

Resurrected from the 90s, the repress of the EP Ad Astra by Japanese trance legend https://soundcloud.com/user-586865647 is here. Re- released by one of London’s newest labels; @https://soundcloud.com/area127

After the first release 127VA001 which was focused on the contemporary tech-trance sound, the label takes a new path with the repress of four psy-trance tracks by ZETA. The Japanese producer started creating music in the early ’90s, influenced by ambient, techno and dub. Only after witnessing gig’s by Tsuyoshi Suzuki and Transwave, ZETA began exploring the goa trance sound we can find on this record. 

Our premiere pick is the groovy Techno Shanty; a striking retro addition to the current revival of psy and goa trance in electronic music. A profound psychedelic dance-floor killer that was utterly forward-thinking at the time of the release, but maybe even more relevant for the scene of today.
