I used garage band for ipad, then recorded some chords and drums with ipolysix into garage band via audiobus, then recorded the second synth lead, mixed an sent on SC via garage band for ipad itself. It's pretty rough and I think I am gonna use the chords and drums into flstudio to give it some new life to this one. If someone want to make some remix or re-use of these sounds, I give him the permission being all original material made by myself.

Anthem to the sky

My first ever collaboration with a guy I have always loved and admired for god knows how long on the cloud. He is none other than my good friend Hans Michael more recently known as a.k.a. Clouders For. 

A few weeks ago my good friend Hans put a piece of music out as an open collab to which he entitled "Life Is". The music was in fact a slandered blues piece, but nothing is ever standard with this guys approach to it. For me Hans is a guy who very much as a personal touch of his own in every way. He is one of my top guitarists on the cloud who you will instantly recognise with his touch on the guitar. His style is formidable and what he did here instantly appealed to myself when I first heard it.  I knew I could add my own personal touch to Hans music and make it in a way to say something even more about Rock rather than the Blues, and it had a load of scope to use vocal expression to which I myself love.

The title alone Hans chose for his piece of music, I instantly latched onto and decided to call it "Life Is.. (Nothing But A freak Show). It was a great subject matter  for me to write about and try and put myself in the frame of living as a real freak. 

A freak in reality is something abnormal or a person with a deformity that instantly looks out of place with what one is used to seeing. Many moons ago such a person being deformed or looking out of place, people would pay money for and put on display as some sort of monster in a museum or a travelling Circus.

One very person who did such a thing back in the 1800's was a chap by the name of Phineas Barnum. he saw it as a way of making a profit out of and making a good living for himself. Yet for the Freak in reality it was nothing but a way to be ridiculed and treated badly by such people without any real feelings at all, and laugh at and abuse them.

I would like to thank my good friend Hans for letting me use his great music for my own personal visualisation here, and in reality it has made me get off my arse regarding my own skin condition which plagues  me every year and even makes me feel like a Freak.
