James' Bad Weather Theme

Another commission by TalyllynRailwayStudios. Edward's theme is so iconic, and I've noticed throughout the different versions of his theme, it always kinda sticks to it's routes, even in S7. The chord progression is iconic, and even though parts of the lead differ between variants, it never goes wrong.

This cover of Edward's theme feels like a good midpoint between S1 and S6, just with the typical instrumentation for that part of the show. I do hope you all enjoy, as this was lots of fun to make!

Created in Acoustica Mixcraft 9 using a soundfont of the E-Mu Proteus/2 Module, samples from the Prophet 2000 disk library and Yamaha RX-5 drum machine samples. Original theme tune composed by Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell. Thomas and Friends is property of Mattel Creations.

Duck's Pondering

Today marks 40 years since Thomas the Tank Engine first aired on TV and to celebrate, I made two new themes. First up is Thomas' theme from Series 6, specifically the extended version from Percy's Chocolate Crunch. This one was a pain to get right, but I'm still happy with the end result.

I also made a shorter variant of the one heard in The World's Strongest Engine, James and the Red Balloon and Thomas the Jet Engine which I already posted in my music folder if you want to check that out as well.

Thomas & Friends is owned by Mattel and the Awdry Family.

Woohoo! Another fantastic collab with the talented 1TankEngine and Sunny Sudrian! I’m so happy with how this came out. My personal favorite parts would be the mashup of The Fat Controller’s theme with Oliver’s at the beginning, as well as the sweet melody I came up with at the end. This was in progress during the announcement of the passing of Britt Alcroft, so she was in mind when making this. May she rest in peace. Please enjoy this, and check out the video!
